Oh no, I'm not calling the race. I'm calling the three race set.

Grand Prix standings

Fabio and I are tied at 43 points so I'd have to come in before him to win. You're the next closest at 27 and would have to win or place combined with a total disaster for both Fabio and I. I make mistakes but rarely does the Italian. He's got it in his blood.

Three wide in the front! The Bus Stop will be interesting...

Turn 13 Summary
Fabio and Chris cruise the Blanchimont straightaway at 160 apiece. Brad makes it three wide at 180. Rando moseys along at 140 but stays right behind the leaders with the slip on Chris. He chooses to grab Brad's tailpipe. Kal extends the mini-conga behind Rando at 160. Mike ups his speed to 140, matching the Paul Frere limit. Cody takes the Paul Frere 140's for free at 140. Todd pulls even with Cody after spending a wear in the 140's at 160. Will uses the Paul Frere 140's for free at 140. Tim completes Fagnes at 80 and is ready for the high speed corner ahead. John takes the Fagnes line for free at 80.

No carnage in the bus stop so far...

Turn 15 Summary
Fabio burns 2 wear on the Bus Stop lines at 100. Brad drops a wear to exceed his braking ability and slows to 80. Two more wear follow as he takes the 40's, tucking in behind Fabio. Chris uses the first set of 60's for a wear at 80 and uses the second line, blocking it for those behind. Rando knocks down a wear in the first line on the chicane at 80 and opts for the outer 60's to finish. At 80, Kal takes the first set of 60's followed by the second line. Mike pulls up to the Bus Stop racing line at 120. Cody runs up next to Mike on the outside at 160. Will drops to 160 as he preps for the chicane. Todd eases his car down to 120 to save what brakes he has left for the upcoming corner. Tim and John both drop the hammer on Blanchimont at 180 and continue to run side by side.

The lead car and chase pack are in lap 2!

Turn 16 Summary
Fabio pulls up to La Source at 120. Brad plots 100 and gets the bonus from Fabio. Chris hits the straight at 140 to pull alongside Brad. With the initiative at 140, Kal grabs the slip from Chris and makes it three-wide. Rando pulls out of the Bus Stop at 140 and tucks in behind Brad. Mike burns a wear on the Bus Stop lines at 80. Cody takes the 60's at 80 for a wear and finishes the chicane on the second line. Will drops 2 wear in the Bus Stop to pull even with Cody. He takes the first racing line followed by the second set of 60's. Todd exceeds his braking ability at 80 and applies 1 sp to the dice roll (modified 11). His brakes give up the ghost and he is out of the race! :frown: John plots 140 to get the initiative then brakes down to 120, applying 2 sp to the dice roll (modified 5). He claims the Bus Stop line. At 120, Tim pulls up to the chicane on the outside lane.

Note: I should not have removed the wear from Todd's car as he never made it to the chicane. Meh... whatever, I'll fix it next turn.

You're in much better shape than I am. To get back in this thing, I'll need a combination of the following:

1) Good dice on the chance table - as it is the final race of the season, I will be going all out.
2) Some mistakes from the front-runners.
3) A crash in the front chase pack that rolls up multiple drivers.*

*Remember fellas - last race of the season. Don't leave anything in the tank. Chance table... chance table... use the chance table... take chances... last race... chance table...

First time in the race we see our celebrity tow truck in action. I have a feeling it won't be our last!

Turn 17 Summary
Fabio drops 2 wear in La Source 60's and stays on the outside. Chris has the initiative at 100 and stays on Fabio's tailpipe. Kal moves to the inside after he burns 2 wear in La Source 60's. Brad drops his speed to 60, burns a wear in La Source, and grabs Kal's tail. At 80 Rando takes La Source 60's for a wear. Mike speed up to 140 to take the center lane in front of turn 1. Cody bumps it to 160, pulling to the outside of Mike. Will makes it three wide at 140 and the slip on Mike. Tim gets the initiative in the Bus Stop at 80, takes the first two 60's for a wear, and finishes on the second line. John drops a wear at 60 on the Bus Stop 40's to stay even with Tim. Mater forgot his passenger but Tim is in hot pursuit!

Brad, I am astonished that you went through at 60. My plot reflects my astonishment.

OH -- Cody -- good on ya, I think we are about to see you flex that 80 braking power!
