Turn 12 Summary
Mike takes the middle ELF lane for a wear at 120. Tim burns a wear in the outside ELF 120's at 140. Fabio maxes his top speed at 160 on the straightaway. Kal rolls the ivories to exceed his top speed by +20 w/ 2 SP applied (modified 7) to keep astride of Fabio. Brad also hits the tables w/ 2 SP to push his acceleration & take advantage of that tremendous top speed of 180 (modified 8). Cody pushes his damaged engine at 140 w/ 2 SP (modified 6) but is falling behind his group. Todd uses all his car's abilities as he hits the straight at 160. Chris throttles up to 140 and with the slip on Todd, keeps up. Rando also hits 140 and keeps the line intact with the slip on Chris. John continues to conserve his wear and takes New Holland for free at 80. Will drops 2 wear in Europcar & New Holland (1 each) at 100 to grab John's tail. DC takes it easy through the Europcar 60 at 60 and is trailing the field.

Turn 13 Deadline: Friday, October 3rd @ 12 noon EST (4 p.m. GMT)

Crash! Cody's car burst into flames but Cody was able to walk away with only minor burns. Rest up and repair your car for the last race, Cody.

Turn 13 Summary
Mike maxes his car at 140 on the straightaway. Tim completes ELF at 140. Kal takes the initiative at 140 and burns 2 wear in the middle ELF lane. Fabio knocks down a wear at 120 through the ELF middle and tucks in behind Kal. Brad drops a wear at 140 on the outside ELF lane and is prepared to rocket out. Cody passes his top speed test w/ 1 sp (modified 6) at 140 but his attempt to go +60 through the inside ELF lane requires a roll on the chance table. With 1 SP applied (modified 10), Cody's car crashes into the tire wall and bursts into flames. Fortunately, the crash has no effect on any other cars. Todd drops to 140 and is ready for ELF (the debris will be gone for his next turn). Chris also pulls up to ELF at 140 plus the slip on Todd. Rando grabs Chris's tail at 160. John uses all of his acceleration to take his car up to 160. Will keeps pace at 140 plus the slip on John. DC drops 2 wear through New Holland at 120 as he tries to keep the field in his sights.

Turn 14 Deadline: Monday, October 6th @ 12 noon EST (4 p.m. GMT)

That track crew is amazing! Big explosion right in front of me, but the debris was cleaned up before I got there. Or did the explosion blow all of the debris out of my way?

I'm pretty sure at Cody's speed the debris slid to the outside lane out of your way, hopefully the clean up crew can get the track cleaned up as soon as everyone passes and we can avoid a yellow flag.....

Turn 14 Summary
Mike drops to 100 on the Repsol line. Tim pulls up to Repsol on the line at 140. Kal takes his car back down to 140 on the straightaway. Fabio pull alongside Kal at 140 plus the slip on Kal. Brad wisely keeps his top speed in check and tucks in behind Kal at 160. Todd burns a wear in the ELF 80 at 100. Chris takes the ELF 100's for free and grabs Todd's tail. Rando travels FOC on the outside ELF at 120 and brings up the rear in a mini-Conga. John takes an RM plot at 140 to pull in front of ELF on the outside. Will ramps his speed up to 160 and pulls to the inside of John. DC tests his top speed at 180 w/ 2 sp applied (modified 10). The boxcars result in engine damage, forcing DC back down to 160. Fearing a secondary explosion, Cody runs away from his smoldering wreck.

Turn 15 Deadline: Wednesday, October 8th @ 12 noon EST (4 p.m. GMT)

Mike drops 2 more wear on the SEAT 60 at 100. Tim takes the Repsol line for free at 100. Kal burns a wear on the Repsol line and tucks in behind Tim. Fabio also notches a wear on the Repsol line and stays abreast of Kal. Brad uses a wear to exceed his braking ability and takes the Repsol line for free at 100. He keeps up with the lead group via the slip on Kal. Todd ramps his speed up to 140 and is starting the Repsol line. Chris maxes his acceleration & top speed (160) and grabs the inside lane next to Todd. Rando keeps up at 160 and stays on Chris's tail. Will takes the ELF 120's for a wear at 140. John uses the ELF 120's for free at 120 and tucks in behind Will. DC pushes his top speed at 160, applying his 3 SP chip to avoid the roll (we know how those go for DC). He drops 2 wear on the ELF 120's. Cody's car is being removed from the track area by our celebrity tow truck.

Turn 16 Summary
Mike hits the Campsa line at 120 but instead of calling for a wear, he asked to use 1 SP. That can only mean one thing... the chance table. A modified 4 keeps him safe and may turn out to be advantageous (the roll was also sent to Kal - please confirm the roll, Kal). Tim takes the outside SEAT 80's at 100 for a wear. Fabio burns 2 wear on the outside 80's at 120 and pulls alongside Tim. Kal plots 100 but does not designate a corner speed so the default puts him in the 80's for a wear. He tucks in behind Fabio. Brad conserves wear at 60 on the SEAT 60. Chris drops a wear in the Repsol 80 at 100. Todd takes the Repsol line, also for a wear, and keeps astride Chris. Randy burns off some of his 120 speed and notches a wear in the Repsol 100's to pull in behind Todd. Will grabs the Repsol line at 160. John pulls abreast of Will at 160 plus the slip. DC rolls the dice with 2 sp to exceed the top speed of his damaged engine at 160 (modified 5). Cody has popped a brew (or three) in the garage.

Turn 17 Deadline: Tuesday, October 14th @ 12 noon EST (4 p.m. GMT)

Kal goes through the Campsa line for free at 100 and gets the bonus from Fabio. Brad enters Campsa on the line at 120 for a wear. Chris takes the SEAT 80's for 1 wear at 100. Todd travels the SEAT 60 for free and tucks in behind Chris. Rando burns a wear in the SEAT 60 at 80. John takes the initiative and hits the Repsol 80 at 100 for a wear. Will finishes the Repsol line at 100 for free and remains outside of John. DC catches up with the pack at 140 for 2 wear on the Repsol line and grabs Will's tail. Cody went home.
