As the English people receive the bodies of their fallen comrades who were mercilessly annihilated in Belgium, the country bands together in their honor. Letters recently received from troops there spoke of how comfortable the men felt there and they really had connected with the locals and were involved in community events and provided support services for many of the homeless and poor.

How the Belgians will fare with the French taking up stations around the country we do not know. but for now, our focus is on the families - here and abroad affected by this travesty.
