You should probably grab a drink now, Germany's gonna speak next.
tl;dr vote for Sweden/German/Italy

Ahem-hmm... is this thing on... tap..tap..

Greetings and Salutations from the Bundesrepublik Deutschland!

Not far from this realm in which we are now warring, teams are gathering in São Paulo to prepare for what is arguably the world’s greatest tournament - the World Cup. Players are arriving bright eyed and eager to lead their nations in a quest for victory. And like here, some will leave dejected, some proud, some embarrassed, and some absolutely elated. It’s not going to be successful for most countries. But the camaraderie, the competition, and the chance to taste victory always seem to bring everyone to the table. Sounds familiar, doesn’t it?

Meanwhile in our São Paulo, a nuclear missile sits perched and armed to destroy, part of a testament to the astonishing power accumulated and wielded by Argentina. Nuclear missiles line his South American coast, not just in São Paolo, but also Rio de Janeiro, Porto Alegre, Uruguay, Buenos Aires, and Patagonia.

The purpose of these weapons is speculative, but what is widely known is that Argentina has single-handedly raised himself from an obscure E Power to possibly the world’s most powerful nation. He has nearly complete control over his home continent and has coordinated a masterful offensive into Africa - to the consternation of current African overlords China and France. He reigns supreme over most of the entire southern hemisphere and everyone has their eyes on him.

If we were to vote for a single best nation, then Argentina would have a strong case to get my vote. It is difficult to deny his achievements.

But I can tell similar stories anywhere on the map, about different nations (and some pirates as well), achieving greatness and making waves in the world. Look at Mexico, overwhelming and dominating the U.S.A. Consider China, spread from Ulan Bator all the way to Windhoek, taking a laughable single African unit and conquering almost the entire Sub-Sahara. Witness the true firepower of the Pirates of the Orange Laut, as they prepare to launch their own arsenal of destruction upon the Earth.

China, Argentina, Sweden, France, Turkey, Russia, Orange Laut, the United Kingdom, Canada, Egypt, etc. There are a lot of powerful nations among us that would be worthy of claiming the title of ‘Best.’ And they are named multiple times in the nominated coalitions presented to us. We may eventually come to a sort of agreement about who the three best may be, and if they are grouped together in the right combination at the right time, we may crown three winners and reward them for their individual efforts. That is often how it plays out in NWO, as the politics of voting can get just as intense as the action on the battlefield. It is not wrong, but there is an alternative.

One of the nominated coalitions includes Sweden/Germany/Italy.

We are a coalition that has existed since the beginning of this game. Individually and as a group we have survived, thrived and made life absolutely challenging for many of our more powerful and aggressive neighbors.

SWEDEN aka THE KING OF THE NORTH - Sweden easily qualifies for one of the most impressive performances by a nation in NWO. He and Kazakhstan remain the only F Powers out of the 18 that existed at the start. Sweden is currently managing a campaign against Russia, with obvious and tremendous success. He launched a daring and novel offensive versus Canada, by working with the United Kingdom to attack out of the Arctic. He has been crucial in maintaining peace in the North Sea, and in working with Germany and Italy to put down insurgencies by former allies Serbia and Poland. Sweden came out swinging and ready to play. His extensive geographical coverage only partially represents his amazing achievements in this contest.

GERMANY aka THE MOCKINGBIRD - This guy talks a lot of baloney for a German, but he has been instrumental in maintaining the integrity of the SGI alliance and with expanding the European Alliance to include former enemy France. He was able to evade a probable elimination by Serbia and France, and turn the tables decidedly in his favor. And while embattled with France, Germany was also able to fend off encroaching fleets from the United Kingdom, dismiss an intransigent Poland, and empower Italy to successfully defend the Mediterranean. He is currently compensating for his allies’ heavy military lifting by launching an offensive email campaign. I mean a campaign that is offense… you know what I mean. Also, he currently sits on the Iron Throne in King’s Landing aka London.

ITALY aka THE MAD KING of the MEDITERRANEAN - Of those in the SGI alliance, Italy has most successfully employed the role of a lightning rod, drawing interest, positive and negative, to Europe as a whole. He is a test for diplomats, and has at times frustrated the likes of France, the United Kingdom, Egypt, Syria, Turkey, and on an on. He has absorbed multiple nuclear strikes and half his empire is currently occupied by four separate nations. He was one of the first nations to launch into Africa, and his presence in the Mediterranean has kept the Sea from being successfully traversed, either east to west or west to east. Despite Italy’s apparent maddening behavior toward his adversaries, he has remained constantly loyal to his alliances, allowing SGI to flourish, and allowing the European Alliance with France to remain securely in place.

Other European nations have tested and threatened our continent’s security and viability, but Italy, Sweden and Germany have maintained a constant powerful and cohesive force from Sicily all the way to Oslo.

While Sweden’s achievements alone should place him among any grouping of winners, it is our desire to see the SGI coalition become successful this voting round. Please consider us, now Coalition #15, among your Yes votes.

Perhaps we are destined to continue battling into the summer, losing players along the way, and maybe seeing a group of three collect enough votes to win without consideration of the remaining players. With 25 nukes on the board right now, and no end until a successful vote is reached, this looks possible. Maybe mid-August or so.

Eventually, for all but three of us, someone else is going to be rewarded a victory. I don’t wish to claim Sweden/Germany/Italy as the only nations deserving such a result. Only that we should be a reasonable consideration for your Yes vote.

See you on the battlefield, or maybe in the EOG reception hall.

Cheers and Good Luck,

David in Berlin
