A note regarding the misorders:

- The Austrian order of Gal instread of Boh is an invalid order.
- The English support of MAO to SPA (SC) is valid even though the support order does not designate the coast.
- The English order of Ber (instead of Bur) is very unfortunate as the real Ber has an English occupant as well. There are now two orders for Ber and neither will count.

All three of these situations were passed through the tournament committee and the results represent their unanimous decision. I implore you to double and triple check your orders.

Ok, so that was ultimately my own fault. I don't have to use the shorthand, plenty of players don't and now I see why. It's also my own fault for being so soft that I couldn't bring myself to make the stab on Christmas Eve when I was actually better placed to do it. Still though, it seems like an incredibly harsh decision. There wasn't any ambiguity in the order. It was quite clear what I meant and also quite clear to Mike that it wasn't a deliberate misorder because I mentioned in my email to him that I was finally instituting the long overdue stab. As such I think it would have been fairer to let that move stand. For the sake of a typo I've been heavily disadvantaged.

Btw, sorry Greg. You knew it was coming I'm sure, but still. Would have been nice to avoid this but we were clearly going nowhere.
