Turn 14 Summary

Herbert is through Bianchi on the line at 140. Dent makes up space at 160, also clearing Bianchi on the racing line.

Selbyg sets up the Bianchi line at 120. Needham stays tucked in, also at 120.

Hoyt has initiative at 120. He scrubs two wear, one in each of the first two corners. Hudson is next, also at 120. He runs the left-hander line for free and tosses a wear on the inside of Observatory.

Last out is Johnson at 100 who gets bumped out to the 120's in Observatory. Bennett runs the line for free at 120 and settles on the outer lane.

Collins clips a tire at 140 through the left-hander racing line. Bauska picks up the line at 120.

Turn 15 Summary

Herbert tosses two pellets into the hopper at the chicane to clear at 140. Dent pulls up on the line at 160.

Selbyg rounds Bianchi on the blue line at 160. Needham gives his engine a nudge with 2s (modified 7) to hit 160 on the blue and takes the bonus.

Hoyt picks up the Bianchi line at 120. Hudson, at 120, stays on his tail.

Johnson gets in line at 120. Bennett cruises through Observatory for free at 120 but misses the slip op... or does he?

Collins careens through Observatory on the inner rail at 140, scrubs two wear, pulls in front of the #48, and picks up two positions.

Bauska conserves wear at 120, line to outer rail.

Turn 16 Summary

Herbert pulls up to Terlamen on the inside at 120. Dent scrubs a wear at 120 through the chicane.

Selbyg burns a wear on the Kleine chicane line at 120. Needham posts 120 then late brakes to 100 w/ 1s (modified 10). Oof… damage! He runs the line for free.

Hoyt is through the Bianchi sweeper at 140 via the blue line. Hudson, at 160, does the same and is in challenge position.

Collins slams the gas pedal to 160 w/ 2s (modified 0) and finds the #99. Johnson settles in behind the #22 at 140.

A traffic jam denies Bennett the use of his 160 on the blue line. He scotches a wear through the 140 instead but picks up a position via the slip. Bauska is clear of Observatory at 120.

Turn 17 Summary

Herbert clips one tire in each of the two Terlamen segments at 100. Dent scrubs a wear at 100 in T1. Both cars take the inner rail.

Selbyg opts for the Terlamen arrow at 100. Needham, at 120, takes the inside position.

Hoyt plots 140 before late braking to 120 w/ 2s (modified 5). He clears the chicane at a cost of one wear. Hudson, at 120, burns a wear on the first arrow in the chicane then gets bumped to the outside.

Collins over-brakes to 100 (1w) and gets into the Kleine for free with the slip.

Bennett, at 120, picks up the Kleine racing line. Johnson, at 120, is diverted to the inside.

Bauska uses a red chip on his engine to hit 160 on the blue line.

Herbert picks up the line for the Jochen Rindt at 100. Dent eases his way through T2 at 80.

Selbyg gets the initiative at 120. He takes the T1 line for a wear then tosses two more as he dives to the inner rail of T2. Needham, at 100, burns a wear in T1 then runs the T2 line for free.

Hoyt dives into T1 at 140 on the line at a cost of two pellets. Hudson, at 120, settles in with choices.

Collins, at 100, picks up the bumper on orange.

Bennett has initiative at 120. he scrubs a wear in the Kleine on the arrow and has inside position on yellow. Johnson, at 100, runs the 80’s for a wear and tucks in on the #48.

Bauska offers two wear to the clear the chicane on the racing lines.

Herbert sheds two wear in the Jochen Rindt at 100. Dent also scrubs two as he dives into Rindt at 100.

Selbyg sets up the racing line at 120. Needham takes an RM plot of 100 (NPR #1: Warning).

Hoyt continues to burn wear (two more) through Terlamen at 140. Hudson drops a wear at 100 in the T1 80’s.

Collins gets the initiative at 140, coughing up two wear on the T1 line. Bennett clips one at 120 as he follows the yellow machine into Terlamen.

Johnson, at 100 and the bonus, clears T1 on the line for free. Bauska sets up the T1 line at 120.

Herbert approaches the chicane at 120 on the line. Dent is clear of Rindt at 100.

Selbyg drops to 80 and runs the Rindt line for a wear. At 100, Needham sheds two wear and picks up a bumper.

Hoyt dives into Rindt at 120 on the line. He burns two wear and a red chip on the chance roll (modified 5).

Collins has initiative at 140, cuts two tires on the line, and picks up the next one. Hudson drops a wear at 100 in T2 and tucks in on the #22.

Bennett runs the T2 line for free at 100. Johnson, at 100, scrubs a wear on the inner rail to take inside position.

Bauska tosses two tires on the Terlamen lines, one in each, at 120.

Turn 22 Summary

Herbert starts the final lap at 120. Dent gets his nose across at 120.

Selbyg scrubs one in the chicane at 100. Needham pulls alongside at 120 and burns two.

Hoyt hits the chicane at 100 for a wear. Collins grabs the racing line at 140.

Hudson pulls out of Rindt at 140. Bennett finishes Rindt at 100.

Johnson tosses two wear on the racing line at 100. Bauska does the same and stays on red’s tailpipe.

Herbert takes the first left at 120 for free then hits Observatory on the inside for a wear. Dent slows to 100 and runs the left-hander for free on the inside.

Selbyg ramps up the engine to 160 and scrubs two wear on the line. Needham, at 120, goes into the corner for free.

Hoyt finishes the chicane at 100. Collins burns two wear at 120 through the Jacky Ickx.

Hudson takes an RM plot of 100 for a wear through the chicane (NPR #3: 2w penalty).

Bennett dives into Jacky Ickx at 120 and tosses two wear for the privilege. Johnson sets up the line at 120. Bauska takes inside position at 140.

Turn 24 Summary

Herbert is out of Observatory at 120.

Selbyg gets the initiative at 120, goes inner rail for a wear, and scoots outside (tricksy fellow). Dent runs the 100’s in Observatory for free.

Needham continues at 120 and tosses a wear on the inside of Observatory.

Collins gets the initiative at 160 via an engine test w/ 2s (modified 1). He scrubs two wear on the racing line. Hoyt, at 120, burns a wear on the inside of the left-hander.

Hudson sets up on the inside at 140. Bennett is into lap 3 at 120.

Johnson gets the initiative at 120 and dusts two wear in the chicane. Bauska, at 100, drops two wear in the Jacky Ickx 60’s and opts for the outside (I just do what you tell me to).

Dent slots in behind the #88 at 160. Needham is clear of Observatory at 120.

Collins goes outer rail in Observatory for free at 120. Hoyt clears at 100 on the inside.

Hudson runs the left-hander at 100 for free and starts Observatory on the inside. Bennett scrubs a wear at 140 on the red line.

Johnson, at 140 and the bonus, burns two wear on the inside. Bauska clips a tire at 140 on the racing line.

Turn 26 Summary

Herbert burns two wear as he clears the Kleine Chicane at 140. Selbyg sets up the line at 140.

Dent stays tight on 88’s bumper at 140. Needham tosses a skill to hit 160 (modified 2) and closes in.

Collins puts in 2s for 160 (modified 8) and clears Bianchi on the blue. Hoyt, at 140 and the bonus, stays on the yellow car.

Hudson is out of Observatory at 100. Johnson, at 140, scrubs two wear in Observatory and overtakes the orange machine.

Bennett drops two at 160 and keeps pace with the red racer. Bauska clears Observatory at 140 on the outside for a wear.
