Turn 1 Summary

Johnson gives the car a nudge with 2s at 80 (modified 2) and takes the middle lane. Selbyg goes to 80 with 2s (modified 6) and dives inside for position.

Hudson gets initiative at 80, using 2s on the push (modified 6). Collins slides in behind the orange machine at 60.

Bennett and Herbert scoot along at 60 apiece.

Koerber takes an RM plot of 60 (NPR #2: 1w penalty). Needham pushes to 40 with 2s but, alas, mis-shifts and sits at zero (modified 10).

Note #1: I have not heard from Andrew this race and one more NPR brings out the black flag.
Note #2: Rando can use his accel next turn.


Searles pushes to 80 (natural 3). Hoyt grabs the dice cup to hit 40 (natural 4).

Dent eases his way into the race at 20.

Turn 2 Summary

Johnson gets the initiative at 120 and sheds two wear on the Tarzan line. Selbyg bumps two wear on the inner rail to maintain position.

Hudson burns one at 100 on the red line. Collins, at 120, dumps a wear on the outer rail.

Herbert has the initiative at 120. He clips two tires on the line. Bennett pulls up at 100 and, per his defaults, pulls into the corner on the outside with the bonus.

Searles grabs the racing line at 120. The black flag comes out for Koerber with his 3rd NPR. Andrew, I hope you're ok!

Hoyt rumbles ahead at 100. Needham pushes the engine with 2s (modified 3) and gets along at 60.

Dent pulls alongside the open-wheeler at 80.

Turn 3 Summary

Selbgy dives into Hugenholtz on the line at 100, costing two wear. Johnson, at 100, burns two wear on the outer rail.

Hudson continues at 100 and picks up the H' racing line. Collins slows to 100 to complete Tarzan.

Herbert continues around the Tarzan line at 120 to move up the leaderboard. Bennett scrubs a wear on the slowing Tarzan outer rail at 100.

Searles runs the Tarzan line at 80 for free. Hoyt barrels into Tarzan on the line at 120 for two wear.

Dent sets up the racing line at 120. Needham tucks in at 100.

Turn 4 Summary

Selbyg is clear at 100 and shifts to the outer lane. Johnson also clears at 100 but is not fooled - he tucks in on the #88.

With initiative, Hudson clips two tires at 100 on the Hugenholtz racing line. Herbert coughs up a wear as he clears the corner at 80 on the outer rail.

Collins burns a wear at 80 on the red line. Bennett dives into Hugenholtz at 80 on the line for a wear.

Searles sets up the racing line at 80. Hoyt is pushed off-line at 100 but has position.

Dent sheds a tire at 100 on the Tarzan line. Needham clears at 80, also on the line.

Turn 5 Summary

Selbyg goes conservative at 100. Johnson hits Jan de Wyker at 140 and scrubs two wear. He has the race lead!

Hudson burns a wear at 120 in the JdW.

Herbert gets the initiative at 140. Collins, at 120, tucks in on the black machine.

Bennett finishes Hugenholtz at 80.

Searles takes the initiative at 80 and scrubs a wear on the line. Hoyt slows to 60 and sheds one on the inside. He picks up the bumper on the #9.

Dent clears Hugenholtz at 100 on the line at a cost of two pellets. Needham pulls up at 100 and readies the line.

Turn 6 Deadline: Friday, October 18th @ 8 a.m. EDT (12 noon UTC)

Johnson's speed should read 140, not 100.

Turn 6 Summary

Johnson careens around the Border at 160, drops two pellets, and picks up the blue line on exit.

Selbyg burns a wear at 120 in the middle lane. Hudson, at 100, dives to the inside and scrubs a wear.

Herbert, at 120, coughs up two wear: One in JdW and the second in the Border. Collins sheds a tire in JdW at 120 then punches outside for free and takes the bonus.

Bennett clips two tires in the JdW corner at 140.

Searles eases up to de Wyker at 100. Hoyt pulls alongside at 120.

Dent plots 140 but has no place to put the machine - he late brakes with a wear. Needham burns his first two wear at 100 around the Hugenholtz line.

Turn 7 Summary

Johnson, at 160, runs the dog leg on the blue line for free. Selbyg keeps the pace, also at 160.

Hudson maxes his accel to 160 to stay with the leaders.

Herbert bumps his speed to 140. Collins does the same and picks up a bumper on the blue line.

Bennett scrubs a wear at 140 on the outer rail of Border and snags the blue line.

Searles, at 120, clips a tire in Jan de Wyker before going outer rail for free in Border. Hoyt, also at 120, pops a wear in JdW then burns two more on the Border inner rail.

Dent coughs up a wear in JdW at 120, goes middle Border for another, and gains a slip. Needham clears the JdW at 100.

Turn 8 Summary

Johnson is through Panorama at 160 on the line. Selbyg puts the pressure on at 180, taking advantage of the +40 blue line.

Hudson says 'me too!' and punches the engine to 180 using 1s on the engine test (modified 5). Not to be outdone, Herbert throws 1s at the engine and dials up a 200 (modified 9). He survives the red-line and scrubs a wear in Panorama.

Collins scoots along at 140 and picks up the double bonus. Bennett is through the dog leg at 160 on the blue line.

Hoyt maxes the engine to 180, burns a wear in the dog leg, and picks up the bumper on the #48.

Dent increases speed to 140 and clears the dog leg. Searles is also able to clear the corner at 140.

Needham uses a wear to clear the Border at 120 via the middle lane, patiently biding his time.

A new race leader!

Turn 9 Summary

Johnson drops to 120 and goes outer rail in Pullie's. At 140, Selbyg goes to plan B and hits the middle lane. He scrubs two wear and has the lead!

Hudson, at 140, drops two wear in Pullie's, coming in on Jon's tail. Herbert grabs the dice cup with 1s for the hard brake to 140 (modified 5). He runs outside for a wear and picks up the bonus.

Collins, at 140, selects the middle lane.

Bennett is through Slaten's at 160. Hoyt, at 180, stays on the blue line and challenges the #48.

Dent drops the hammer to 180, blue line all the way. Searles keeps the pace at 160 and a slip.

With the top down and the wind in his hair, Needham is enjoying a nice drive in the open air at 160.

Turn 11 Summary

Selbyg slows to 140 and grabs the racing line.

Herbert gets the initiative at 180. He late brakes with the dice (natural 8) and slides into the middle lane. Johnson, at 140 and the bonus, takes the inside lane and is back in first... for now.

Hudson tucks in on the #88 at 140 for the line. Collins is across the S/F line at 160.

Hoyt pushes his nose into the 2nd lap at 180. Bennett loses pace at 160.

Dent continues at 160 and opts for the middle. Searles is stuck at 140.

Needham burns a wear at 140 on the outer lane of Pulle's.
