Introducing the RROC IX starting line-up:
Starting 6th in the blue race car, looking to avenge his 6th place finish in RROC I, Tim Baker
Starting 5th in the yellow machine, he finished P2 in RROC VI, James Benham
Starting 4th in the red race car, the first of 2 RROC rookies, Rob Rund
Starting 3rd driving the pink car, our second rookie, Paul Bernhardt
Starting 2nd in the green machine, his 4th RROC with a best finish of P2 in RROC V, Steven Peeples
Starting on the pole in the teal racer, last year's 3rd place finisher, Jason Schultz
And there you have the starting lineup for this year's Redscape Race of Champions!

Baker pushes to 40 moving to the inside

Peeples leads the group pushing to 180
Schultz is next in line with no push needed
Rund attaches to the group with a push to 180 as well
Bernhardt can reach 180 without taxing his engine, falling in line behind Rund
Benham stays with the group at his top speed of 180
Baker snakes through the Eau Rouge green line at 140

A lot of hot brakes after all the 180 plots last turn
Peeples brakes hard to 100 shedding two wear through the 60 and onto the next racing line
Schultz slows safely to 120 spending two wear in the 80s and starting the line behind the leader
Rund stands on the brakes for 100 and is one wear lighter on the Les Combes line
Bernhardt also tests the binders and follows onto the line behind Rund
Benham at 120 moves to the outside of the pink machine
Baker closes on the pack at 180

Baker at 120 takes the outside of Les Combes for two wear and grabs the Malmedy line
