RBL Amendment Proposals 2025 (draft)
Amendments to address fielding teams with limited or no active players. See Redscape discussion: http://www.redscape.com/viewtopic.php?f=465&t=4598
A1: Require a team have a minimum number of 16 active players on the roster. An active player must be eligible to earn stats and occupy one of the 20 position and/or pitching slots.
A2: Add two minor league specific slots to every roster.
Notes:
Amendment to add IL slots. Proposed by Tom – there was no discussion at Redscape. I picked two because he did not specify (pulled back to one).
A3: Add one IL slot to every roster.
Amendment to remove restrictions on playoff acquisitions. Proposed by George:

A4: Playoff acquisitions are unrestricted. They are subject to FA budget restrictions.

*Owners have one week after the auction to comply.
*Owners may not complete any transaction that makes a roster illegal.
*Enforcement of A1 begins after the 2026 auction.
