Turn 1 Summary

Dygert jumps out front at 120 with 1s (modified 6). MacDonald eases into his exhaust at 100.

McConchie challenges his countryman at 120 with 2s (modified 4). Marshall takes a risk with no skill on the push to 80 (natural 8). That was close!

Kay keeps things in check at 100. Herbert nudges the engine to 80 with 1s (modified 7).

Hoyt can't handle the clutch with no skill on the push to 80 (natural 10). He falls behind at 40.

Koerber moves out of the back with a 2s push to 120 (modified 4). Blanchett pulls alongside the #24 at 60.

Herbert uses 1s on the nudge (modified 3) and creates a 3-wide at 80 in the back.

Turn 2 Summary

Dygert hits the San Donato corner on the inside line at 100. He sheds two wear and will be the only car to clear the first corner.

MacDonald burns two wear on the inside line at 100. McConchie, at 100, takes the secondary line for a wear.

Marshall nabs the racing line at 120. Kay, also at 120, dives inside.

Herbert, at 140, takes the only remaining lane on the outside. Koerber gets behind the #47 at 120.

Needham, at 120 and the bonus, piles into the traffic jam.

Hudson gets the initiative at 140. Blanchett goes second at 120. Hoyt anchors the conga line at 100.

Everyone plays nice this turn but the field now has to merge into two lanes...

Turn 3 Summary

Dygert knocks down two wear at 120 on the Luco line.

MacDonald clears Luco on the line for a wear. McConchie finishes San Donato at 100.

Herbert gets the initiative at 120 and burns two wear on the outside line. Kay, at 100, clips two tires in the 60's. Marshall coughs up a wear as he runs the inside line at 80.

Koerber scrubs a wear on the inner line at 80. Needham runs the outer line at 80 for free to clear.

Hudson is able to clear San Donato at 100 on the inside line, costing two wear. Blanchett also sheds two wear at 100 on the line.

At 100, Hoyt readies San Donato on the inside line.

Turn 4 Summary

Dygert presses to keep his lead at 140 and burns two wear on the Materassi line. MacDonald won't let him get away that easy. He also hits Materassi at 140 for two wear.

McConchie and Herbert take turns through the Luco 60's at 100. That's two wear apiece and they maintain relative position. Note: For some reason I forgot to charge Scott's wear. I'll fix tomorrow.

Marshall gets the initiative at 100 and scrapes a wear on the Luco line. Kay runs the line for free at 80.

Koerber takes an RM plot of 80 on the Luco line for free. Needham pulls into the Luco 60 at 80, costing a wear.

Hudson, at 100, is pushed to the outside and sheds a tire. Blanchett, also at 100, loses a pellet on the outside.

Hoyt takes it easy through San Donato at 60.

Turn 5 Summary

Dygert clips a tire in Casanova at 140. MacDonald keeps the pressure on and does the same.

McConchie runs the Materassi red lines for free at 100. Herbert, at 100, takes the first line followed by the 100 spot.

Marshall clears Materassi on the red lines for free at 100. Koerber pulls over to deal with real life issues. He'll be back for Season 11.

Hudson gets the initiative at 140 and hits the outer rail of Materassi for two wear. Needham sets up the corner on the line at 120.

Blanchett clears Secco at 100. Hoyt is through Luco at 80 for free.

Turn 6 Summary

Dygert stays on the pedal at 140, pays a wear in Arrabbiata, and picks up the departure line. MacDonald also dives into Arrabbiata for a wear at 140.

McConchie pulls away from traffic at 160. He scrubs two wear in Cassanova.

Marshall burns a wear at 140 through Cassanova. Herbert reaches the Cassanova exit at 120 and the bonus.

Kay clears Materassi at 100. Hudson passes the #47 at 140 and tosses in a pellet for Cassanova.

Needham picks up a tailpipe at 100. Blanchett clears Materassi at 100 on the racing lines.

Hoyt gains some ground at 140, spending two wear on the Materassi lines.

Turn 7 Summary

Dygert picks up the line for Scarperia at 140. MacDonald taps the gas, mid-corner, to 160 and Larry has company.

McConchie dumps two wear in Arrabiata at 160, using the blue line to clear.

Marshall clips a tire in Arrabiata at 140. Herbert, at 120, is at the critical Arrabiata apex for free.

Hudson burns a wear in Arrabiata at 140.

Kay eases his way through Cassanova at 120. Needham challenges at 120 and the bonus.

Blanchett clears Cassanova for a wear at 140. Hoyt sheds a wear, also at 140.

Turn 8 Summary

Dygert continues the torrid pace at 120 and scrubs two tires in Scarperia. MacDonald does not let him go. He burns two and, at 120 plus the bonus, challenges the #3.

McConchie pulls up to the Scarperia line at 120. Marshall revs it up to 160 on the blue line and picks up Will's wing.

Herbert runs the blue line at 140. Hudson stays on him, also at 140.

Kay takes Arrabiata for free at 120 and picks up the blue line at the apex. Needham plays it cool at 100 to follow the #47 through the corner.

Blanchett flies into Arrabiata at 140 for a wear. He was expecting an open line at the apex but... no. Personal defaults have him spending the additional wear. Hoyt, at 140, nicks a wear and finds an open blue line.

Turn 9 Summary

Dygert sheds two wear on the Correntaio red line at 100 then bumps to the outside at the apex. Maybe a mis-reading of the corner? MacDonald, also at 100, hits the outside 60 before diving inside on the blue line. Two pellets for Donald and the lead.

McConchie runs the Scarperia line for free at 80. Marshall nicks a tire at 100 to challenge the black machine.

Herbert slows to 100 and burns a wear on the Scarperia line. Hudson follows him in at 100 to clear, also dumping a wear.

Kay pulls up to Scarperia on the line at 140.

Needham picks up Tim's bumper at 140. Blanchett, at 140, takes the remaining inside position.

Hoyt keeps the pace at 140 on the blue line.

Turn 10 Summary

MacDonald is through Biondetti at 160 and picks up the Bucine line. Dygert grabs D's bumper at 140.

Marshall gets the initiative at 100 - he deposits two wear on the outside rail in Correntaio. McConchie gives up a pellet at 80 as he follows the yellow machine into the corner.

Herbert grabs the Correntaio line at 100. Hudson takes inside position at 120.

Kay bumps a wear at 100 on the Scarperia line.

Blanchett dumps two wear in the Scarperia 60's at 100. Needham clips one at 100 on the line.

Hoyt conserves at 80 on the Scarperia line.

Turn 11 Summary

MacDonald, at 120, dispenses with two wear on the inner rail of Bucine. Dygert burns one wear on the inside at 100 and the bonus. Both used the line on the way in.

Marshall ramps up his speed to 120 on the blue line. McConchie takes an RM plot of 100 (NPR #1: Warning).

Hudson coughs up a wear as he goes outer rail to the blue line in Correntaio at 80. Herbert takes the red line and outer 60's at 80, also shedding a wear.

Kay clips two tires and clears Correntaio at 80 via the 40's.

Needham gets the initiative at 120. He late brakes w/ 1s (modified 6) and tosses two pellets on the outer rail. Blanchett, at 100, scrapes off two wear on the red line to the 60's.

Hoyt pulls up to Correntaio at 80 on the line.

Turn 12 Summary

MacDonald creates some space at 160 and checks on the little-used pavement to the outside. Dygert just gets his nose into the 2nd lap at 140.

Marshall sheds a wear in Bucine at 100 on the outer rail. McConchie pulls up at 100 and nabs the racing line.

Herbert takes inside position at 140. Hudson has no place to park at 140. He stands on the brakes with 1s (modified 5) and sets up behind the #77.

Kay, at 120 and the bonus, joins the group trying to get into Bucine. Blanchett clears Correntaio at 100.

Needham hits the gas and, at 120, moves up one position. Hoyt clears Correntaio at 80 via the line/60's route for a wear.
