Builds are in!

This looks like a speedy track, if all the 180's are an indicator.

The lights go out and off they go! Nine of fourteen push the start but only eight succeed. The three-wide at the front will be mighty interesting as the track collapses to two lanes.

Turn 1 Summary

Row 1: Rund comes out at 100. Rando pushes to 40 w/ 2s (modified 2).

Row 2: Tatum pushes to 120 w/ 2s (modified 5). Baker pushes to 120 w/ 3s (modified 7).

Row 3: Schultz pulls out at 100. Schulz pushes to 40 w/ 1s (modified 1).

Row 4: Bauska pushes w/ 2s but, alas, mis-shifts (modified 9) and re-plots to 40. Harley eases out at 20.

Row 5: Peeples pushes to 120 w/ 2s (modified 5). Beckman pushes to 40 w/ 2s (modified 3).

Row 6. Kennington pushes to 40 w/ 2s (modified 7). Fritz pushes to 40 w/ 2s (modified 6).

Row 7: Both Blanchett and Brandt ease their cars out at 20 each.

Turn 2 Summary

Baker breaks from the 3-wide first at 180 (natural 6). He late brakes to 160 with a wear, uses the line, and occupies the only space possible at that speed.

Rund, at 160, has to late brake to 140 (1 wear) and uses the racing line. Tatum also plotted 160 and must late brake as well. He does so w/ 1s (modified 6) followed by a wear in the corner.

Schultz runs the Bethlehem line for free at 160.

Peeples gets initiative at 160 and follows the #15 in the corner on the line for free. Rando, at 100 and the bonus, stays to the inside.

Schulz picks up his speed to 100. Bauska pushes his engine with 2s to also hit 100 (modified 5).

Harley stays behind the #44 at 100. Beckman tucks in on the #27 at 80.

Via a phrase learned from Brad, this turn was like 'stuffing ten pounds of shit into a five pound bag'.

Turn 4 Summary

Peeples runs the Quarry line at 120 for free and takes position on the #15. Rando continues to enjoy his pocket at 120.

Now the fun begins...

Schulz runs the Ess curves at 80 for free. Responsible driving from Doug creates havoc...

Bauska gets the initiative at 140. He late brakes w/ 2s (modified 5) and is able to clear the Esses for two wear. Harley can't use all of his 120 unless he attempts a forced pass. He requested a forced pass (blocking, 3+6 = 9; fail). Russ has to bring the car down to 80, doing so with two wear. Doug loses a wear on the block.

Beckman gets the initiative at 160. He late brakes to 120 with 2s and a wear (modified 4) before burning two wear in the Esses. Kennington is next at 120 and is forced to take an inefficient, two wear route into the Esses. Last is Blanchett at 100 and is into the corner for a wear.
