Turn 29 Summary

Baker approaches the line at 140. Lap 3 looms!

Schultz, at 160, is on top of the #11. Tatum pushes the engine w/ 1s (modified 6) to hit 140 and tucks in.

Rund hits the gas to 120. Needham is stuck at 100.

Bauska has the initiative at 100. He sheds two wear on the Forsthaus line. Schulz runs the inner rail at 80 for two and picks up the wing on the open-wheeler.

Peeples plots 100 then late brakes to 80 (natural 11). Oof! He takes a wear of damage then drops two more on the corner. He slides in behind the BLM Chevy. Fritz runs the Forsthaus line at 100 for two wear.

Beckman picks up the Forsthaus line at 140. Harley tucks in on the Pennzoil car at 140.

Kennington keeps pressing his engine (natural 7). He take the middle lane at 160.

Blanchett slows to 140. Brandt keeps his engine going at 180 on the racing line.

Final lap! The white flag is out... trust me.

Turn 30 Summary

Baker is across the S/F line at 160. Schultz, at 160 and the bonus, challenges. Tatum, at 180, picks up the wing on the #15.

Rund drops the hammer to 180. Rando grabs the dice cup to hit 180 (natural 3).

Bauska gets initiative at 160, requiring an engine check (natural 9), and puts his nose into lap 3. Schultz, at 140 and the double bonus, tucks in between two cars.

Peeples, at 140 and a slip, grabs the bumper on the #44. Fritz, at 140, opts out of the slip and extends the conga line.

Beckman burns two wear at 100 on the Forsthaus line.

Kennington runs the outer rail in Forsthaus at 100 for two pellets. Harley, at 80, grabs the dice cup with gusto and rolls a chance (natural 8). Note that he'll be stuck at 20 next turn.

Blanchett picks up the now useless racing line at 100. Brandt takes the middle position, also at 100.

A new race leader!

Turn 31 Summary

Baker, at 120, avoids entering the Ess curves. Schultz dives in at 120 and coughs up two wear for the race lead.

Tatum picks up the wing of the #11 at 120. Rund clears Bethlehem on the line at 140.

Needham, at 160, is through Bethlehem on the line at 160. Schulz takes the inside lane at 140 and the bonus.

Bauska stays on the #43 at 160. Peeples, at 160 and the bonus, takes up the Bethlehem line. Fritz drops the hammer to 180 but it doesn't seem to get him much.

Beckman scoots down the straight at 140. Kennington sweats out another turn at 160 (natural 5).

Harley recovers from his spin at 20.

Brandt scrapes two wear on the outer rail at 100. Blanchett burns his last wear at 80.

Turn 32 Summary

Schultz is clear of Quarry at 120 on the line. Baker slows to 80 through the Esses.

Tatum completes the blockage in the Esses at 80. Rund, at 100, expends a wear.

Needham starts the second blockage at 80. Schulz, at 100, burns a wear to complete blockage #2.

Peeples gets the initiative at 140.* He must late brake to 100 (natural 3 and 1w) before entering the Esses for another wear. Bauska, at 120, finds no room at the inn and also brakes to 100 (natural 3).

Fritz, alas, must late brake from 140* w/ 1s and a wear (modified 9).

Beckman is into the final lap at 160. Kennington has the little engine that could, also at 160 (natural 9). He challenges with the bonus.

Brandt drops the hammer to 180. Blanchett loses pace at 160.

Harley bring ups the rear at 60.

* I really wanted to see some forced pass / chance rolls here. Stephen called for the chance but, alas, not the FP. Brent called for both but there just wasn't a way to stuff his car in there.

Turn 33 Summary

Schultz scrubs a wear at 100 on the Eicholz line. Baker, at 120, runs the Quarry line and sets up Eicholz.

Tatum, at 120, follows Baker and tucks in. Rund, at 100, anchors the mini-conga line.

Needham clears the Esses at 80 and gets into Quarry. Schulz, at 80, sets up the Quarry line.

Peeples, at 100, weaves through traffic and finds himself on the Quarry's outer rail. Bauska, at 100, burns a wear in the Esses and has inside position in front of Quarry.

Fritz sheds a wear in the Esses at 100 but has to take an inefficient route.

Beckman plots 140 then late brakes with 1s (modified 3). He knocks down two wear in the Esses. Kennington sits just outside of the Esses at 120.

Brandt keeps his foot on the pedal at 180. Blanchett can't keep up at 160 as he must plan ahead with compromised brakes. Harley meanders towards the final lap at 140.

Turn 34 Summary

Schultz takes a huge lead at 140.

Baker, Tatum, and Rund ease their way along the Eicholz line at 80, in formation the entire way.

Needham drops a wear as he enters Eicholz on the line at 100. Peeples, at 120, scrubs two wear on the outside.

Bauska, at 100, opts for position on the inside. Schulz, also at 100, is happy to pick up the Eicholz line.

Fritz, at 120, burns off some speed in Quarry before tucking in on the BLM Chevy.

Beckman clears Quarry at 120 on the line. Kennington burns two wear in the Esses and follows the #22 into Quarry.

Brandt sheds two wear in the Esses at 120. Blanchett is through Bethlehem at 120.

Harley remains a turn behind at 160.

Turn 35 Summary

Schultz sets up Eymatt on the line at 120.

Baker enters Jordanrampe at 120. Tatum challenges at 120 and the bonus.

Rund stays just behind at 140.

Needham finishes Eicholz at 100. Peeples continues at 120 and pulls alongside green. #2 v. #2!

Bauska routes to the outer rail of Eicholz at 100 for a wear. Schulz runs the line for free at 80.

Fritz flies through Eicholz on the outer rail at 120 for two pellets. Three-wide!

Beckman sheds a wear on the Eicholz line at 100 and clears. Kennington clips two tires at 120 on the outer rail.

Brandt clears Quarry at 120 and is ready for the next corner.

Blanchett takes the left lane for free at 80. Harley is in front of the Esses at 120.

Lots of brake lights this morning...

Turn 36 Summary

Schultz clears Eymatt on the line at 100.

Tatum gets the initiative at 160. He moves one and late brakes to 140 (natural 6), knocks down a wear in J-rampe #2, and drops his last two on the Eymatt line. Baker plots 140 followed by a late brake (natural 7). He runs into Eymatt behind orange and sheds a wear.

Rund, at 120, grabs the Eymatt line.

Needham and Peeples take turns through Jordanrampe at 120 apiece, maintaining relative position.

Fritz gets the initiative at 160. He late brakes w/ 1s (modified 4) and scrubs a wear in the first J-rampe corner. Bauska runs the line at 140 for free. Schulz has to brake down from 140 (natural 6) since three cars can't fit into two lanes.

Beckman takes the inside lane at 140. Kennington, at 140, grabs Jack's tailpipe.

Brandt clears Eicholz at 80 on the line. Blanchett is through Quarry at 120 for free. Harley clears the Esses at 80.

Turn 37 Summary

Schultz eases his way through Tenni on the line at 120. Tatum also clears at 120.

Baker continues at 120 and is able to get through Tenni on the line. Rund runs Eymatt on the line for free at 100.

Needham plots 120 before late braking to 100 (natural 9). Whew! He runs Eymatt for free. Peeples, at 120, grabs the dice cup for a naked chance roll on the outer rail (natural 5). Double whew!

Fritz pulls into Eymatt on the line at 100. Bauska is pushed to the outside, also at 100.

Schulz, with nowhere to go at 120, has to late brake (natural 9). Oh my!

Beckman pulls to inside of the #43 at 120. Kennington stays on his bumper at 120.

Brandt is through J-rampe at 140 on the line. Blanchett clears Eichholz at 80 on the line. Harley is through Quarry at 120.

Schultz flies through W-rampe at 180.

Tatum grabs the W-rampe line at 160. Baker, also at 160, stays on his bumper.

Rund clears Tenni at 120 on the line.

Needham is through Tenni at 120. Peeples drops in behind the green #2 at 100.

Fritz picks up the racing line at 100. Bauska also sets up Tenni on the line at 100.

Schulz has initiative at 120. He scrubs a wear on the Eymatt line and takes inside position in front of Tenni. Beckman runs the 80's for free at 80 and opts for the middle lane.

Kennington runs the Eymatt line for free and goes outside to access the Tenni line. Brandt burns a wear at 120 on the Eymatt line.

Blanchett takes the J-rampe line for free at 140. Harley runs the Eicholz line at 80 for free.

Turn 39 Summary

Schultz keeps his foot on the pedal at 180 through W-strasse.

Tatum drops the hammer to 180 and takes the blue into W-strasse. Baker keeps it in check at 160 and takes the single bonus.

Rund continues to enjoy clean air as he revs the engine to 180 through W-rampe.

Needham grabs the blue at 180. Peeples, at 160 and the bonus, stays on his bumper.

Fritz plots 160, requiring an engine check (natural 6). He scrubs two wear on the Tenni line and finds himself all alone. Schulz runs through Tenni at 100 for free.

Bauska takes the Tenni line for free at 120.

Beckman takes Tenni on the line at 120 and picks up the BLM bumper. Kennington, at 120 and the bonus, makes it three-wide going into the high-speed part of the track.

Brandt clears Tenni on the line at 120. Blanchett pulls up to Eymatt on the line at 100. Harley is through the first J-rampe corner via the line at 140.

The dice get frisky.

Turn 40 Summary

Schultz continues down the backstretch at 180.

Tatum, at 180, tries to shake his tail. Baker picks up speed to 180 and doesn't fall for it - he stays on Don's bumper.

Rund clears W-strasse at 180 on the blue line.

Needham goes line-to-line at 180. Peeples takes his shot at 160. He follows the first line, dives inside on W-strasse for a wear, and clears with the double bonus.

Fritz goes line-to-line at 180.

Schulz gives his engine a nudge to 180 (natural 9). A bit of smoke but it complies and he runs W-rampe on the line. Bauska attempts the same but the dice finally take a bite (natural 11). He re-plots to 160 and sets up behind the black machine.

Kennington ignores the warning lights and the engine just keeps on chugging (natural 3). At 160, he dumps a wear in W-rampe. Beckman, at 140 and the double bonus, slots in between two cars to create a three-wide.

Brandt sets up the W-rampe line at 180. Blanchett is through Eymatt at 100 via the line. Harley readies Eymatt on the line at 80.

Turn 41 Summary

Schultz eases up to 140 as he approaches the final corner.

Tatum clears G-rampe at 180 on the line. Baker, at 160 and the double slip, scrubs his last wear and pulls into 2nd place.

Rund continues on the backstretch at 180. Peeples drops the hammer into red-line territory and hits 200 (natural 6).

Needham continues out onto the backstretch at 180. Fritz is through Wohlenstrasse at 180 on the line.

Schulz clears W-strasse at 180 on the line. Bauska gets initiative at 180 out of the three-wide and follows the black machine.

Kennington at 160, burns a wear on the inside of W-strasse. Beckman runs the corner for free at 140.

Brandt is into W-strasse at 180 on the line.

Blanchett clears Tenni at 120 on the racing line. Harley is through Eymatt at 100.

Turn 42 Summary

Schultz grabs the Forsthaus racing line at 100.

Tatum gains the initiative at 160. He pulls up to the corner and late brakes (natural 5). Baker slots into the middle lane at 140. I very much appreciate the reckless driving!

Rund clears G-rampe at 140. Peeples, at 160, rides the blue line.

Needham is also through G-rampe at 180. Fritz keeps the pace at 180.

Schulz just about red-lines the engine at 200 (natural 9). It sputters but ultimately complies.

Kennington's engine finally gives up the ghost (natural 10). You're not in last place, Russ! Bauska, at 160 and the double bonus keeps up with the black speedster.

Beckman is on the backstretch at 180. Brandt is a car length behind at 180.

Blanchett clears W-rampe at 180. Harley is through Tenni at 120.

Well, I suppose that could have gone worse...

Turn 43 Summary

Schultz gets the initiative at 100, clears the final corner for his last two wear, and is a short jaunt to the finish line.

Baker is next at 80. He passes both the overbrake AND the chance (natural 9 & 5)! Tatum is not so lucky at 60. He passes the brake check (natural 9) but spins in the corner (natural 9)!

Peeples gets the initiative at 120 before late braking (natural 4). He takes the line. Rund moves into the middle lane at 100.

Needham makes it a three-wide at 120. Fritz is still a car-length behind at 160, line.

Schulz roars through G-rampe at 180 and his personal defaults prepare him for the line. Bauska, at 120 and the double bonus loses pace.

Beckman runs the line at 160. Brandt is now on his tail at 180.

Blanchett stays the course at 180. Harley picks up speed to 180.
