Turn 45 Summary

Schultz is at the paddock rolling out biscuits. Baker comes in at 2nd place at 160! Wait, shouldn't Baker be making the biscuits (bad dad joke)?

Tatum pushes the engine to 100 (natural 8). Rund rolls right by him at 140.

Schulz finds the orange wing at 120.

Needham recovers at 20. Peeples is limited to 40. Fritz is at 20.

At 60, Bauska looks at the aggressive stance of the green car and goes outside to put the forced pass on the red #7 (natural 7). He's through!

Brandt, at 80, knocks down two wear on the inside and puts 2s on the blocking neon green car (2+3-2 = 3; 1w damage to defender). With no wear to pay the ferryman, Needham goes into another spin.

Beckman, at 60, runs the line for free. Blanchett closes on the final corner at 140.

Harley puts 1s on the engine to hit 200 (modified 8).

Turn 46 Deadline: Friday, March 22nd @ 8 a.m. EDT (12 noon UTC)

Brandt tosses his 2s onto an accel roll at 180 (modified 4). He puts his nose across the line for 6th.

Peeples tries for 120 but red-lines his engine (natural 11) and re-plots to 100. Needham recovers from his spin at 20.

Bauska is out of the corner at 80. Beckman pulls up on his side-panel at 80. Fritz clears the corner at 60.

Blanchett pulls up to San Donato on the line at 100. Harley roars towards the final corner at 180. Hmmm... I see kitty litter in his future.

... and the hits just keep on coming!

Turn 47 Summary

Peeples eases his way across the line at 140 for 7th.

Beckman pushes to 140 for initiative but the smoke from the engine tells the tale (natural 10). That allows Buaska to keep the advantage with his push to 120 (natural 5).

Fritz gives the engine a nudge to 120 (natural 7). Needham tucks in at 100 (natural 5).

Blanchett clears the final corner at 60. Harley can't slow down enough to make San Donato and he flies into the kitty litter.

Turn 48 Deadline: Monday, March 25th @ 8 a.m. EDT (12 noon UTC)
Trigger option in effect.

Turn 48 Summary

Beckman tries for initiative at 160 (natural 8). He gets it and takes 8th. Bauska, at 140, earns 9th place.

Fritz takes 10th at 160. Needham pushes to 180 (natural 7) and nabs 11th.

Blanchett comes out of the final corner at 140 and will take 12th.

FYI: Russ pointed out that I should have rolled for a late brake since a failure & spin may have saved the car. So I did and he passed. :frown:

Thanks to everyone for racing and supporting Redscape!

As this is a benefit race, I tracked the number of slips(gifts) given. Here is the final result.
