Introducing the drivers that will compete in RROC VIII:
Starting 6th: one of two RROC rookies in the field, in the yellow car, Russ Harley
Starting 5th: he finished 4th last year in his rookie try, in the black car, Chris Kennington
Starting 4th: competing for the 4th time, with two second place finishes, in the blue car, Mike Polcen
Starting 3rd: the winner of RROC IV, in his 3rd RROC, in the pink car, Mario Ales
Starting 2nd: making his return after finishing 4th in RROC I, in the lime green car, Rando
Starting 1st: the other rookie in the field, in the light blue car, Jason Schultz

5 drivers push, details in the chart
Turn 1:
Schultz gets out to the early lead on the inside of Paddock Hill Bend
Rando takes the line at 80, he can accelerate to 120 next turn
Ales is forced to the outside lane at 120
Polcen gets 40mph and hugs the inside
Kennington at 80 drops in front of the blue machine
Harley is the only one with no dice, he evens up with Polcen at 60

Turn 2:
Schultz runs into Druids on the line at 120 shedding two wear
Ales approaches the corner on the line behind the leader
Rando finishes Paddock Hill Bend at 120 and moves inside for P2
Kennington drops two wear around the inside of Paddock Hill and slots into P3
Polcen pushes his acceleration to 120 and the wall of cars prevents his slip
Harley takes the inside of Paddock Hill Bend at 80 for free

Druids doesn't separate the pack much
Turn 3:
Schultz finishes the Druids line at 100 wear paid and starts the next line
Ales is first into Druids from the 3-wide at 100 shedding two wear on the racing line
Rando is next at 80 hugging the inside of the corner also for two wear
Kennington takes an RM plot into the 60s as speed
Polcen follows Rando around the inside at 80 dropping two wear
Harley hits the racing line at 100 throwing in two wear as well

Ales swings wide through the corner at 100 and also goes for the inside
Rando through the line at 100 slots into P2
Polcen slows to 80 to negotiate the racing line for free
Kennington finishes the 60s at speed
Harley maintains 100 out of Druids and into the Graham Hill Bend 80s

Turn 5:
Schultz takes the inside 60 at 100 shedding two wear
Rando drops one wear on the inside 60 at 80
Ales is one wear lighter after taking the line at 100
Polcen clears Surtees at 100 on the racing line for one wear
Harley maintains 100 out of Graham Hill Bend wear paid
Kennington tosses a wear at the Graham Hill racing line at 100
NOTE: Monday is a holiday in the U.S. I have plans but if they finish early enough
(which they may) and I have all moves I will put out a turn. There will be no
reminder sent Monday morning.

Turn 6:
Schultz clears Hawthorns at 120 on the line
Rando closes up on the the leader at 140 for one wear
Ales keeps up at 140 starting the racing line into the corner
Polcen also starts the line at 140 behide Ales
Harley slows to 80 running the Surtees line for free
Kennington wanted the line at 100 but has to brake to 80 to keep on the line

Schultz accelerates out of Hawthorns and stays to the inside
Rando is paid to finish the line at 140 and keep pace with the leader
Ales runs the racing line at 120 for free
Polcen follows at 120 using a slip to pull even with Ales
Harley sheds one wear on the Hawthorns line at 140
Kennington at 140 is also a wear lighter using the slip to enter the 120s

Harley maintains 140 wear paid as he exits Hawthorns

Polcen gets aggressive nearing the end of lap 1
Turn 9:
Schultz drops one wear through the inside of Stirlings at 100
Rando does the same to keep in the battle
Polcen makes the move of the lap, careening around Stirlings and squeezing by Schultz at 140
Ales also sheds one wear on the inside of Stirlings at 100
Harley takes the inside approach to the corner at 140
Kennington follows keeping on the wing of the yellow machine

Turn 10:
Polcen takes the middle lane at 140 shedding his final two wear
Rando follows also at 140 and gets a slip to pull even
Schultz takes the inside of the corner at 120 for two wear
Ales with a slip runs the middle at 120 and stays attached to Schultz
Harley rounds the inside of Stirlings at 80 and moves inside
Kennington makes a big move at 140 through Stirlings and succeeds

Turn 11:
Polcen starts at 140 then brakes hard before the corner to secure the 9 points for lap 1
Rando does the same maneuver and finishes second
Schultz tries the corner at 140 and ends up facing the stands
Ales at 140 grabs the third spot on the strength of Schultz's spin
Kennington drops his last two wear through the middle of Clark at 140
Harley careens around the inside at 140 and his Firestones hold
