I know, I know, but I think this is my team--and they have a new coach!

Great interview and promo by NBC.

Funny. But did you mean this as a political statement?

Not at all.

However, I don't think there's an "appropriate" forum for it and it NEEDS to be seen!

We've been putting sport into General.

If you want up to date news on the EPL, you could check out the twitter feed of USASoccerGuy. He's quite knowledgeable on all aspects of the game, and know that the real head coach at Spurs is Peter Andre Villas Boas.

Cool!

I'm leaning toward the Spurs. I can't do Man U. That's like rooting for the Yankees (sorry Geo!).

Future football links will be in General.

I think you can see though, this is typical of the US understanding of "soccer."

On another note, I was blown away by Brazil's play vs. Spain. The goal their man scored while laying on the ground--unbelievable.

Agree on Man U. Can't agree on Spurs.

They do have the skills them Brazilians. I'm hoping to go out to Rio next summer - not to go to any games, and certainly not to be around the Engerland fans, but to hang around and soak up the atmosphere.
