How long until Iran cheats?

Without inspections how would one know if they were cheating?

The same way we'll find out now: satellites and intel.

The inspectors may find evidence. However, what is more likely is that the Israelis or disaffected Iranians tell us and we confirm it.

And, the truth is: Obama would suppress any evidence of Iran cheating because it would make him look bad. THAT is all he cares about.

Meanwhile, I found this interesting--mostly because the notion of Obama believing he knows more about a military situation than generals is bizarre. Furthermore, if he thinks he is being purposefully misled, he should sack the general(s) and put more honest ones in place.

Former Defense Secretary Robert Gates said President Obama distrusted the military, and “this was particularly true in Afghanistan” in an interview that was taped earlier in the week and broadcast on Thursday’s “Special Report” on the Fox News Channel.

Gates after discussing his doubts that President Obama believed in the mission in Afghanistan, and micromanaging of the military by the Obama administration was asked about the president’s suspicion of the military. He stated, “I think this was particularly true in Afghanistan, and I think there were people in the White House, and I don’t want to name any names, who were constantly goading him and saying the military is trying to box you in. the military is trying to trap you. the military is trying to bully you. The military is trying to make you do something you don’t want to do.”

When asked if Vice President Joe Biden was one of these people, Gates answered, “I think so. And I was told so. And I think — but he was not alone, and you can argue with the options that they were putting forward, as President Bush did. you can disagree with them, as President Bush did. I — that’s totally fair, in my view. But, to think that they are trying to mousetrap you, I think is a — if I were the president and i truly believed that, I would replace those commanders that I felt were trying to trick me. So, I just — I worried a lot that he was hearing from people, things that made him worry that the military was consciously trying to thwart his will, consciously trying to be insubordinate, and I never believed any of that for a second.”

At the end of the day, it's whether Iran gets the bomb and how long it takes them to do it. 0-5 years-- deal was a major failure; 6-10 years--unsuccessful; 10-15 years, moderately successful; over 15 years, successful.

Of course. Because he's a secret Muslim and all that.
Plus he's only President for another year and half. Then you can start with the Hillary conspiracies..

I thought this was a joke, but then I realize it comes from someone who disputes basic science often. So of course you have no faith in the ability of scientists and technologists to do their jobs efficiently.
And you have complete faith in Israelis who've been claiming that the Iranians were a couple of months from a bomb for close to twenty years ... Why would they be right the next time they make their claims?

No, because he's a narcissistic egomaniac.

Meh.

It is science. Iran is a big country. They have previously hidden aspects of their nuclear program. What makes you believe they cannot do it again?

And you have complete faith in Israelis who've been claiming that the Iranians were a couple of months from a bomb for close to twenty years ... Why would they be right the next time they make their claims?

Hmm, let's see . . . how many errors can you pop into two sentences?

For starters, I don't have "complete faith in [the] Israelis." Note what I said, "However, what is more likely is that the Israelis or disaffected Iranians tell us and we confirm it." You say I don't like science. I say you don't grasp the "science" of reading. "Confirm" is the "science" part.

I would highly doubt you can substantiate your claim the Israelis have been claiming Iran was "a cople of months from a bomb for close to twenty years." Even if you can, it was THIS ADMINISTRATION that used that justification just a couple of months ago.

You remain incapable of interpreting what others write and expressing a logical response.
