What's unique is the Left's near silence on the matter.

It doesn't seem to be a problem for the administration and it's clearly not a problem for the mainstream left. It's appalling. For some reason it was terrible when Bush did it, but not when Obama does it 10 times harder? The right doesn't give him a hard time for it because they agree. The left doesn't give him a hard time for it because they're loyal, so he gets a pass.

The act of showering sovereign nations with bombs is so short-sighted. Yeah, that's the ticket to end wars and win friends in the world. It's always worked so well!

I would say that it's entirely possible that when he got into office, realized what he was dealing with, he came to the conclusion that he HAD to be more aggressive than even Bush was. However, I think he should have communicated this better--rather than merely bragging about it, he could have told us why (to some degree).

He might be the most dishonest President ever. He's certainly waging the lowest form of campaign in recent memory. Even if you want to argue for the "swift-boating" of Kerry, I don't think you'd find an ad with Bush approving of it--as in this one, with Obama approving a mix of distortions and lies.

I have disliked the President's policies. No, I have hated his policies. I have hated his willingness to violate the Constitution (as with his recent undoing of the welfare/work rule by fiat), but President Obama has done something I did not think possible: he has brought greater shame to the office by his conduct than any President I can remember.

Honestly, if he wins reelection, to paraphrase his wife, for the first time in my life, I will be ashamed of my country. Oh, I've been embarrassed and disappointed before, but not ashamed.

Why is he running such a shameful campaign? There's no other way to win.

Watch this CNN report. It's pretty obvious--President Obama's campaign consists entirely of the repetition of lies.
