As someone who has handled many, many disputes like this? Yes. People get very emotional, exaggerate, and even lie. I know, I know, it's shocking
I was refering to the use of firearms as a negotiating tool.
That would be a crime. However, arresting him for it would take what we like to call "evidence." Now, if it actually happened, one might have expected his estranged wife and father-in-law to have told the police and insisted he be arrested. Instead, they declined to press charges.
And had his father in law swung at him, I'm sure he'd claim he felt his life was threatened... which makes the father in laws retreat in the face of the threat from Zimmerman judicious.
Meh.
The only reason to fear Zimmerman would be if you ambushed him and proceeded to give him some "ground and pound."
Tell me Fate, what do you call an armed man who resorts to brandishing his gun in an arguement with an unarmed man?
A suspect.
Now, what do you call someone who speculates without evidence?
Rickyp.
Read this and kindly shut yer yap until there is some evidence.

But he Must be guilty because we want him to be guilty. Guilty of something, anything, then we can somehow link it to another case that has nothing to do with this one and say "I told you so"
OJ Simpson was found not guilty of murder. Because of his later run in with the law, can we now change that earlier verdict?
He's not a charming fellow, we get it! But is he guilty of murder because of a tussle with his in-laws?

3 women alleging domestic violence in 8 years. A previous assault on a police officer. Oh and an allegation by the current victim that he had choked her in an unreported incident (as well as threatening her with a gun). And just about always--guns. Just think what he would do with a gun if he ran into someone who decided to fight back...?

You'd think women in Florida could find someone else to date.

Posting to a thread that is over a year old, even for a joke, is 'resurrecting' it.
So had you heard of Zimmerman's arrest over the weekend?

Heard of it, not discussing it. Sorry the humor was not appreciated. We have bantered back and forth on this already.
Why bother...
Geojanes, I am glad you liked it.

No need to get all defensive, Bbauska. I never said the attempt at humour was not appreciated. I just was asking about the timing of adding it to this thread.

The onion video was very funny. But intentionally funny.
This, in the same vein of comment on the prevalence of guns and their dangers, is awfully funny too.
If it weren't for the tragic consequences.
