I shouldn't kick Republicans when they are down but the results of the following poll are too funny!

http://www.publicpolicypolling.com/main ... -well.html

49 percent of Republicans polled think Acorn stole the election..Acorn doesn't exit anymore.
25 percent of Republicans polled think their state should secede because Obama was re-elected!
5 percent of Republicans switched over to the Democratic Party (maybe due to views like the above of their fellow Republicans)

It sounds like an Onion article, right?

Hey, that's okay, you all still believe Obama has an economic plan!

This survey was conducted in 2009 and the question specifies the 2008 election.

I'm afraid your wrong Purple. Follow the link freeman supplied to the poll.
The poll field work was conducted from from November 30th- December 2nd 2012.

PPP surveyed 700 voters .

700 voters. If they are consistent, that means, what, about 300 (or less) Republicans?

How about this poll? 53% of Democrats have a positive view of socialism?

It's not the Onion either.

So thinking that what they have in countries like Sweden isn't so bad is equivalent to believing that a non-existent entity stole an election?! As for only 700 voters being polled, I think they call that sampling or do most pollsters ask thousands of people?

Socialism! Woooh, scary...

That same poll has 23% of Republicans having a positive view of socialism. I think we can conclude that polls on questions like these can produce odd results.

Six percent of Republicans seemingly don't have a positive view of free enterprise! Nine percent seemingly don't like entrepreneurs! 28% fail to have a positive opinion of capitalism for crying out loud!

(Must be RINOs.)

Yes, they can.

Additionally, polls with 700 "voters," can have an indeterminate number of Republicans, which can also lead to "odd results."

How do you have a negative view of capitalism, but a positve view of free enterprise?

I suspect that the word capitalism (calling up images of greedy bankers, robber barrons, Mr Potter in Its A wonderful Life, scrooge, etc) has more negatives associated with it than the more innocuous sounding free enterprise.

I suspect you are guessing.
