The perpetrator apparently didn't steal anything from Mr. Rich. They found him with his wallet and watch and credit cards.
http://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2016/08/wow-breaking-video-julian-assange-suggests-seth-rich-wikileaks-dnc-source-shot-dead-dc/Strange. Usually those are the very types of items that a petty thief is looking for. This shooting resembles an assasination. The particulars of this tragedy seem eerily reminiscent of other murders, I'm sorry, deaths connected to the Clintons.
And then there's Julian Assange's response.

Without evidence these speculations don't mean anything. We don't know why Assange offered reward money but he could be doing it to sow suspicion. If Seth Rich was the leaker then Assange should provide some evidence proving it. Otherwise, this is just a conspiracy theory without any evidence to support it.

You're right--and I'm sure you would agree there's no evidence the DNC hack was done by Russia either. To put it another way, none of the "evidence" proffered so far amounts to much. It could easily be faked by someone wanting to make it appear the hack was Russian.

Several things are strange about it.
But really, Assange in this interview is doing what Trump has been doing a lot. He makes a thinly-veiled insinuation that this kid Rich was murdered, then when the interviewer presses him on it, he says "Well, others have suggested that."
Too much use of the royal "they" these days..

Agreed. I have no idea who hacked into the DNC and I haven't seen evidence proving how it happened (or even whether it was a hack or a leak). All I am saying is the only way to distinguish between plausible theories and conspiracy theories is to assess whether there is solid evidence to support them.

While Assange was not direct, he was not nearly as oblique as the Donald.

http://www.politifact.com/truth-o-meter ... mail-leak/The tactics of the hack resembled traits of two Russian intelligence groups, dubbed APT28 and APT29, also known as Fancy Bear and Cozy Bear, according to cybersecurity experts who examined the hack.
Following the hackers’ breadcrumb trail, cybersecurity experts have posited that Guccifer 2.0 (not to be confused with the original Guccifer, who is a known lone hacker) is not really an independent hacker. Rather, he is a Russian government decoy to deflect attention from the DNC breach.
