I didn't really take it seriously. Not to cast aspersions, but if you're that easily moved, you are unlikely to sway others. I'm not saying there is no power in the middle. I am saying that if some guy in an internet forum betting with you or daring you causes you to change, you're not so committed as to seriously influence others. While your vote is likely more certain to count, it is but one vote. Unless you live in Florida, it won't change the State.
