In early November we got this weird leak from the Israeli government that Netanyahu was trying to muster support for a pre-emptive strike on Iran's nuclear facilities. Now, perhaps I'm overly skeptical, but (a) the Israelis have historically been very good at operational security, so the notion that this was an unintentional leak seems far fetched and (b) it seems to me that if you're going to take a shot at what have to be some of the best defended locations in the world, you don't go out of your way to advertise the fact beforehand--at least if you think your target has any chance of stopping you.
Then, over the past couple of weeks we've had news of not one but two major explosions at Iranian nuclear sites. So far as we can tell from the reporting (who knows how accurate it may be), no-one, including the Iranians, is quite sure what happened. Israel's official stance seems to be "it wasn't us, but remember we are God's chosen people, so perhaps He did it."
Is the Mossad this good? If so, they might profitably devote their energies to "retiring" a few dozen mullahs. If not, who is it? I can't creditably believe that any other Western intelligence agency has the ability or the moxie to pull this off. Whoever it is, though, good on him!
