Pros: This nerfs the west a little bit - a good thing. Each division is fairly balanced except DMV. But that one's always a crapshoot anyway.

Sporty Josh's Pittsburgh is a bit of a shoehorn, but he's got connections to South Carolina (he's an alum and is responsible for the Gamecocks coaching tree).

I approve. And I didn't realize we were down to one "Brad." Quite a decline from the 6 or 8 we used to have.

For scheduling purposes… I propose to use their hypothetical place (based on winning %) had they been in these new divisions last year.

I'm fine with that. The competitive balance part of the schedule has limited impact. And I'm all for making your job easier :-)
