A challenge for the lead

Turn 15:
Beckman pushes to 160 and his engine responds
Ales comfortably reaches 160 and stays on the leader's wing
Baker screams around Copse at 180 shedding two wear and taking over P2
Swaine joins the line at 160 dropping one wear on the Copse red racing line

Kubala rounds Copse on the green line at 140 for free
Burnett follows also at 140 using a slip which pushes him to the red racing line
Kennington tosses in one wear on the green line at 160
Ingraham uses the bonus at 140 to also clear Copse

Kennard attacks Copse at 180 for two wear on the red racing line
Welage has room to start the green line at 180 (RM plot)
Puddifoot also wows the crowd at 180 off Luffield
Brandt finishes Luffield at 120 for paid wear

The mid-pack groups up into Becketts

Turn 16:
Beckman leads a parade through the Becketts racing line at 140 for one wear
Baker follows at 120 and tucks in behind the leader
Ales gets a slip at 120 and evens up with Baker
Swaine drops a wear at 140

Kubala hits Becketts line at 160 at no cost
Burnett starts the line at 160 behind him
Kennington at 160 chooses the inside lane
Ingraham comes off Copse at 180 and catches the black machine

Kennard finishes the racing line at 180 for paid wear
Welage does 140 around the green line at speed
Puddifoot sheds one wear on the green racing line at 160
Brandt clears Becketts on the green line in exchange for two wear on the green line

Turn 17:
Beckman keeps the pedal down at 140
Baker passes into the lead at 180
Ales at 160 challenges for P2
Swaine gets to top speed at 160 but no room for the slip

Kubala slows slightly to finish the Becketts line at 140 for one wear
Burnett burns two wear on the line at 160
Kennington also runs the line at 160 shedding two wear
Ingraham slows to 120 on the line for free using a slip to keep up

Kennard uses one wear to take the line at 140
Welage closes the gap through the line at 160
Puddifoot clears Becketts on the line at 160 knocking off two wear
Brandt maintains 180 on approach to Becketts

The chase pack forms up at the entrance to Stowe

Turn 18:
Baker drops one wear on the Stowe line at 140
Beckman follows using the slip to pull even
Ales with no slip opportunity also sheds one wear on the line
Swaine is able to do 120 for free and use the bonus to keep in touch

Kubala grabs the racing line at 160
Burnett at 160 finishes inside for P5
Kennington is also at 160
Ingraham uses a slip to make it two-wide and two-deep at 160

Kennard punches up to 180 and catches the chase pack
Welage also stays on the gray car's wing at 180 (no slip requested)
Puddifoot says "C'mon baby, gimme 200" and his engine obliges, barely
Brandt chases the field at 160 knocking off two wear on the Becketts line

The leader has brake problems and another 3-wide approaches Vale

Turn 19:
Baker starts at 140 then hits the binders into the corner and feels them shudder
Beckman at 120 drops two wear after being forced into the 80s
Ales starts the line behind the lead pair
Swaine exits Stowe at 140 and chooses the outside lane at the approach to Vale

Burnett burns one wear through the 100s at 120
Kubala takes the line at 120 for free and keeps pace
Kennington sheds one wear on the Stowe line at 140 to make it 3-wide
Ingraham takes the line for free at 120 and lines up behind the wall

Kennard is one wear lighter taking the Stowe line at 140
Welage saves his tires at 120 through the line using the slip to stay behind Kennard
Puddifoot also gets a slip running the line for free at 120
Brandt gets back up to 180 and grabs the start of the Stowe line

Baker accelerates to 140 wear paid to finish the line
Beckman is paid to finish the 80s at 120
Ales runs the line at 120 shedding two wear
Swaine kicks in one wear to run the 80s at 100

Kennington starts at 140 then on the brakes for two wear through the line
Burnett follows on the racing line at 100 dropping one wear
Kubala knocks off two wear through the 60/80 at 100
Ingraham takes up position on the racing line at 100 for one wear

Kennard moves outside into Vale at 100 clipping one wear
Welage starts the line at 100
Puddifoot swings wide at 120
Brandt is one wear lighter after the Stowe line at 140

The front of the field strings out through Abbey

Turn 21:
Baker is through the Abbey green line at 160 starting the line into Village
Ales gets the initiative at 160 and also runs the green line
Beckman tops out at 140 and follows Ales through the corner
Swaine hits 160 and tucks in behind Beckman

Kennington starts the green line into Abbey at 160
Kubala exits Vale at 160 and queues up behind the black machine
Burnett pushes for 140 and uses the slip to move to the red line
Ingraham finishes the Vale line at 100 and moves inside

Kennard finishes the 80s at 100 for paid wear
Welage drops one wear on the Vale line at 100
Puddifoot slows to 80 running the 80s all the way
Brandt kicks out one wear to take the Vale line at 100

The field tightens up a bit through the technical section

Turn 22:
Baker uses a wear to get down to 100 then another in the Village 80s and grabs The Loop line
Ales sheds two wear in the Village 80s and starts the line behind Baker
Beckman hits the Village racing line at 100 dropping one wear
Swaine stays wide in Village at 140 dropping one wear

Kennington exits Abbey at 120 and starts the Village line
Kubala comes through Abbey at 140 and moves to the inside
Burnett does 140 starting the line behind the black race car
Ingraham runs the Abbey green line at 160 for free

Kennard does 160 across the green racing line at no cost
Welage at 160 is forced to the red racing line
Brandt again hits high gear and throws in one wear on the Abbey green line
Puddifoot follows the yellow machine at 160

The pack snakes it's way through Village/The Loop with a couple of "adjustments"

Turn 23:
Baker grabs high gear out of The Loop to stretch his lead
Ales at 100 follows the line through The Loop
Beckman sheds one wear in the 80 at 100 to keep up with Ales
Swaine finishes the Village 80 at 100 wear paid and swings wide through The Loop

Kubala drops one wear in the Village 80s then takes The Loop line
Kennington at 100 has to use the Village 80s and The Loop 100s for one wear
Burnett sheds one wear in the Village 80s then follows through on The Loop line
Ingraham takes the Village line at 100 knocking off one wear

Kennard throws in two wear in the Village 80s at 120
Brandt attacks the 120 at 140 for one wear
Welage slows to 100 and chooses the inside lane
Puddifoot takes advantage of the available line at 120

A couple of battles heading for the Brooklands/Luffield combination

Turn 24:
Baker is through Brooklands on the inside at 120
Ales does 140 down the straight
Beckman also at 140 uses a slip to pull alongside
Swaine hits his top speed of 160

Kubala accelerates to 160 staying with Swaine (RM plot, 2w penalty)
Kennington at 160 and a slip makes it 3-wide
Burnett can only get 120 with his damaged engine, he does get a slip
Ingraham sheds one wear around the 100s of The Loop at 120

Kennard drops one wear on The Loop racing line at 120
Brandt at 100 has paid for the Village 80, he knocks off a wear in The Loop 80
Welage leaves one wear in the Village 80s at 100 then runs The Loop line
Puddifoot slows to 80 for the Village line and The Loop 80

Luffield collects some wear and brings out the dice...everyone survives

Turn 25:
Baker lightens his wear load by two through the outside of Luffield at 120
Ales likewise sheds two wear around the outside at 120
Beckman dives to the inside of Luffield at 100 trading two wear for one position
Kennington starts at 140 then leans on the brakes into the outside of Luffield for two wear

Swaine at 120 and the Luffield 80 occupied chooses the outside of Brooklands for one wear
Kubala goes for broke at 120 to the inside of Kennington and his Firestones barely hold
Burnett leaves one wear on the inside of Brooklands at 140
Ingraham covers Wellington Straight at 160

Kennard stays even with the blue machine at 160
Brandt also does 160 keeping two lengths behind the pair in front of him
Puddifoot at 160 uses the slip to pull even with the yellow race car
Welage keeps in touch at 160 as well

Luffield rubbers up yet some more; Baker stretches his lead

Turn 26:
Baker screams down the main straight at 180 starting the Copse green racing line
Ales exits Luffield at 160 and chooses the middle lane
Beckman tops out at 140 and sticks behind Ales
Kubala is paid through the Luffield 80 at 140 and queues up behind the red machine

Kennington maintains 120 finishing Luffield on the outside
Swaine swings wide through the corner at 120 shedding two wear
Burnett is also two wear lighter after the outside of the corner also at 120
Ingraham does the same around Luffield dropping two wear

Kennard stays even with Ingraham at 120 giving up two wear as well
Brandt knocks off two wear in the Luffield 80s at 120
Puddifoot slows to 100 into the 80 for one wear
Welage is safe at 100 preparing for the final corner of the lap

Note: Apparently no one (including myself) has noticed that the points chart has not
been tracking lap 3. That has now been corrected.
