A complex turn for your RM but no positions end up changing

Turn 23 summary:

Swaine cruises through the Clark 80s at speed
Dygert (See note below)
Incorpora clears the corner on the inside dropping two wear at 100

Peeples sheds two wear in the 80s at 120
Polcen at 120 keeps to the inside before the corner
Kennington uses a slip at 120 to finish outside Polcen

Note: Dygert plotted 80. He did 160 last turn and only had 40 deceleration so the slowest he could go is 120. He only had one wear left so he couldn't enter the corner at 120. Since it's incumbant on drivers to know their speeds and stats I handle these as "expected" late brakes meaning with no skill noted it is 0 skill. The "kindest" dice in this case is roll for the late brake and use the one remaining wear in the corner. But that wear went away when he failed the braking roll. This put him in the 80s at 100 and 0 wear. This was "unexpected" so maximum skill was used on a chance roll, which he passed.

The battle for the lead heats up

Turn 24 summary:

Swaine pushes his acceleration and starts the corner 11 line at 160
Dygert at 160 moves to the inside and P1 for now
Incorpora exits Clark at 160 to maintain the two length gap

Peeples finishes the 80s at 120 wear paid
Polcen sheds two wear through the 80s at 120
Kennington drops one wear at 100 and brings up the rear of the queue

With two corners to go there's still a lot of possible position changes

Turn 25 summary:

Dygert runs the 140s at speed for free
Swaine reclaims the lead at 140 through the racing line
Incorpora follows the leader through the chicane at 140

Peeples clears corner 12 on the line at 140
Polcen follows the orange machine also at 140
Kennington sheds one wear at 160 moving into the 140s

The front is now a 4-car pack

Turn 26 summary:

Swaine agressively hits the Ascari line at 120 shedding two wear
Incorpora gets the initiative at 140 and starts the line behind the leader
Dygert slows to 120 and tucks in behind the black machine

Peeples jumps off corner 12 at 160 catching the group in front of him

A second driver will have to decide whether to repair brakes between laps

Turn 27 summary:

Swaine prepares for the final corner at 140
Incorpora sheds one wear around the Ascari line at 100
Dygert is hard on the brakes to get to 80 around the line behind the black machine

Polcen is happy to drop one wear on the Ascari line at 100
Kennington sails in at 120 but is forced to the outside lane for two wear

Will Prost or dice be a factor in any further position changes?

Turn 28 summary:

Swaine rusn the Prost line at 80 shedding his last wear and staring at the finish line
Incorpora hits Prost aggressively and his tires easily hold for a guaranteed P2
Dygert at 100 starts the racing line

Peeples moves to the inside for P3
Polcen wanted 140 but has to spend a wear on the late brakes
Kennington exits Ascari at 120 and tags onto Polcen's wing

The first two cross but the rest of the pack have cleared the final corner

Turn 29 summary:
Swaine crosses the finish line at 140 for the lap win
Incorpora at 160 seals P2
Peeples drops one wear in the Prost 60s at 80 and playes defense by finishing on the line

Dygert has to stand on the brakes to get to 60 but his brakes fail and off the track he goes
Polcen uses his last two wear on the 60s at 100
Kennington clears the corner on the line at 80 for his last wear

NOTE: The 3 remaining cars should cross the line on turn 30. When I send out the results I
will also summarize the repair/grid options. Remember the grid will be set by RROC points
with no inversion.

Lap 2 is in the books

Turn 30 summary:
Polcen cruises across the line at 160
Peeples follows on at 140
Kennington gets a slip at 140 but it's not enough

Here's the "repair" situation. If you have any questions let me know.

Dygert: you regain 20mph on deceleration automatically. (RROC Rule 8.1) If you want to try to fully
repair them you need a 1d6 roll of 5 or less. If you fail that roll you have the option to spend a
turn "in the pits" and try again. You may make one roll per turn. If you stay in the pits, once you
get the 5 or less roll you will begin the next turn at the s/f line at 40mph. If you fail the roll
or choose not to make it, you will have a deceleration of 20mph and your brakes will still be considered
"damaged", meaning one more brake failure during lap 3 will put you out of the lap. Since you "finished"
sixth on this lap and the field is not inverted, you are guaranteed to start the last lap from P6.

Peeples: You have the option to repair your brakes. If you do, repair is automatic but then grid placement
will be according to RROC Rule 9.1. If you choose not to repair your brakes they are still considered
"damaged" and one more brake failure during lap 3 will put you out of the lap.

Since no one damaged an engine or crashed, only RROC Rules 9.1, 9.1.1 and 9.1.2 are relevant:
After initial placement (in order of RROC points, no inversion) cars will be moved to the back
in order (9.1.1) cars that make ONLY brake repairs OR a build point adjustment, then (9.1.2) cars that
make BOTH a brake repair AND a build point adjustment.

In case of a "tie" cars will keep their relative position.

The final lap is about to begin

Lap 2 interval summary:

The only activity is Dygert attempting to fully repair his brake, which he does.
In the other decision, Peeples chooses not to give up the pole and will compete with his
damaged brakes.

No one moved a build point so there is no change to the start grid.
