Thank you for your patience. The hardest thing about attending WBC is wrenching yourself back into regular life afterwards.

There is a correction on the track - I failed to remove two wear from Skip's car (#1) in T14. That has been remedied.

Turn 18 Summary

Harley is in front of Stirlings at 120.

McConchie & Schultz zigzag through several corners at 140 apiece and maintain relative position.

Bernhardt keeps up with the leaders at 140. MacDonald over-plots 140 and is replotted to 120 (cannot increase speed in a corner & use additional wear on the first space entered).

Hoyt gets the initiative at 140. Feeling lucky, he grabs the dice cup and rolls naked chance (natural 4). Lucky he is! Marshall rounds Hawthorns on the inside at 100.

Moratto runs the Hawthorns line at 120 for free and gets the bonus. He tucks in behind the #18.

A new race leader and one unlikely to give it back. Also, a couple of drivers got caught up in the Saturday deadline (and no reminder - thanks, Covid) with NPR's. Finally, in case you're wondering about Jason's landing spot, I follow plots as close to the letter as I can even if those plots are based on faulty assumptions

McConchie goes outer rail at 120 and burns a wear. Schultz sheds two tires at 120 as he goes inner rail. He then attempts to get to the outside for reasons unknown.
