Things look good up front but still some points battles farther back in the pack

Turn 26 summary:
Swaine clears Hawthorns on the line at 120 for free
Kennington starts the Hawthorns line at 140
Ales moves to the inside and P2 for now
Baker exits Surtees at 120 and uses the slip to keep pace

Backman sheds one wear on the Surtees racing line at 100
Brandt attacks the next two corners at 120 dropping two wear on each line
Puddifoot gets the bonus after rounding the G.H. Bend line at 80
Ingraham gets the jump at 100 knocking off one wear on the racing line

Kubala queues up after taking the G.H. Bend line for free
Kennard grabs the tale of the line at 100 scrubbing off one wear in the 80s
Burnett has room on the line at 80 for free
Welage leaves one wear on the Druids line at 80

Turn 27 summary:
Swaine rounds Westfield at 140
Ales swings wide in Hawthorns at 120 then moves back inside
Kennington is able to run the Hawthorns line at 120 and regain P2
Baker follows the black machine and gets the slip for P3

Beckman is down Pilgrims Drop and up Hawthorn Hill at 140
Brandt holds a steady 120 to finish the Surtees racing line
Puddifoot rounds the Surtees line at 80 for free
Ingraham follows in the lime green car's tire track clearing the corner

Kubala charges through the inside of Surtees at 100 trading two wear for two positions
Kennard attacks the outside lane of Surtees at 120 shedding two wear
Burnett starts the Surtees racing line at 80
Welage takes the Graham Hill Bend line at 80 conserving his tires

Things tighten up at the front and near the back

Turn 28 summary:
Swaine taps the brakes to 120 in front of Stirlings
Kennington gets as far inside as he can after running Westfield at 140
Baker does 120 and tucks in behind the black machine
Ales is forced to the long way but the slip keeps him just a half car length back

Beckman sheds one wear through the Hawthorns line at 140
Brandt does the same to stay just two lengths back
Kubala whips his horses and they buck leaving him short of the corner
Puddifoot moves to the inside of the broken machine and into P7

Ingraham queues up to be next to take the Hawthorns racing line
Kennard can accelerate to 140 down Pilgrims Drop
Burnett stays safe through Surtees at 80 on the line
Welage sheds one wear on the Surtees racing line at 100

Turn 29 summary:
Swaine slows to 80 taking the inside of Stirlings for free
Kennington follows the leader at 100 dropping his final wear
Ales has to brake hard to get to 80 preserving his one wear
Baker is also standing on the brakes getting to 80 into the outside lane of the corner

Beckman rounds Westfield, Dingle Dell and Sheene's Curve at 140 racing alone
Brandt in the same situation duplicates the red machine's move
Puddifoot holds P7 shedding two wear around the 100s at 140
Kubala leaves one wear on the racing line at 140

Ingraham uses one wear around the Hawthorns racing line to keep up with the pair in front
Kennard slows to 120 running the Hawthorns line for free
Burnett is into Hawthorns on the line at 140 dropping one wear
Welage covers Pilgrims Drop and Hawthorn Hill at 160 and starts the line

It appears the top 3 positions are settled, but there still plenty of hard racing to go

Turn 30 summary:
Swaine clears the final corner through the middle lane at 100
Kennington follows also at 100 (he'll be able to do 140 next turn)
Ales also chooses the middle lane at 120 losing his last wear
Baker finishes the Stirlings 80s and keeps to the inside

Beckman knocks off one of his two remaining wear on the inside 80s at 100
Brandt closes up the group after shedding two wear in Stirlings at 120
Puddifoot does 140 to maintain his position
Kubala, however, stays right with the lime green machine at 140

Ingraham takes it 3-wide after knocking off one wear through Westfield at 160
Kennard at 140 is racing alone at the moment
Burnett finishes the Hawthorns line at 140
Welage punches through Hawthorns and into Westfield at 160 catching the purple race car

Turn 31 summary:
Swaine noses across the finish line for the win
Kennington follows at 140 falling one space short
Ales finishes Clark Curve at 140, wear paid for the acceleration, and settles to the inside
Baker runs the Clark middle lane until shifting inside at the end

Beckman spends his final wear through the middle at 120
Brandt uses the slip at 120 and one wear to set up a 3-car drag race next turn
Puddifoot sheds two wear around the Stirlings inner 80 at 120
Ingraham does the same to keep even

Kubala rounds the Stirlings inner lane at 100 using his final wear
Kennard also runs out of wear after hitting the 80 at 100

No surpirse the dice come out. Points are going to come down to the last turn

Turn 32 summary:
Kennington seals P2 running the outside of Paddock Hill Bend at 120
Ales stays inside and finishes a comfortable third
Baker pushes his engine hard and it barely holds together for P4
Beckman goes for 160 and makes it (automatic) finishing in the middle of the 3-wide

Brandt also pushes for 160 and the dice are kind, but he doesn't gain anything
Puddifoot takes the middle lane of Clark at 120 dropping his last wear
Ingraham follows Puddifoot also at 120 for his final wear
Kubala has to slow to 100 taking the middle lane but losing the draft

Kennard exits Stirlings at 100 and moves inside before the final corner
Welage sheds two wear around the inside of Stirlings at 120
Burnett splits his remaining wear using one in Stirlings at 100

One more turn should decide it all

Turn 33 summary:
Puddifoot slams the gas to get to 180 then slams the brakes short of the corner, succeeding at both
Ingraham takes a comparitively leisurely 160 to finish P6
Kubala is able to nose to the line at 140

Kennard tries the middle lane at 120 and manages to make it stick
Welage comes around the inside of the final corner at 120 shedding two wear and appearing to grab the final o\point
Burnett tries to follow Kennard's move through the middle but he ends up spinning

Monday is the Labor Day holiday in the U.S. If anyone can't get a turn in by then let me
know and I'll extend the deadline to Wednesday.

Kennard follows in 11th
Burnett gets righted and heads for the finish (he'll get there on turn 36)
