Box Canyon
Character Assignment
Attached are the character assignments for Box Canyon. I'm not sure I've ever mentioned,
the number by the name is the card drawn for assignment. It will be removed as of turn 1.
Also, the cards drawn for character assignment are reshuffled into the deck, so the showdown
begins with a full deck of Result Cards.
Side C sets up first on board B and/or H. The first setup will be due on Friday to give
sides a chance to develop strategies. All communication can be private during this period.
Once I publish C3's (or both C3's and C6's) setup on Friday all communication must be public.
Also note the starting VPs.
Remember all sides can only exit the board on the east (right) side. In typical A-H form,
it is noted that "Captured characters are killed." with no other information. Since the rustlers
and posse are "...trapped...by Indians." the assumption is that any side B and/or side C
characters on the board at the end of the showdown are the ones that are "captured" and "killed".
This is true even if there are no side A characters left alive (other Indians arrive to capture
the surviving characters). Those side B and side C characters left on the board at the end will get
-4 VP for "captured" AND -8 VP for "killed" in addition to any VPs gained/lost during the showdown.
Any character that does leave the board gets -2 VPs for "Run Away". (Beats the heck out of the -12 VPs
for being on the board at the end of the showdown)

SERIOUS2: will draw 2 Fatigue cards at the beginning of each turn
Guard loses his aim on hex E-E9

Guard Aim canceled: delay
End of turn:
Guard delay reduced from 8 to 4
Guard endurance reduced from 20 to 13
NOTE: The Kid asked to aim at G-H16. He has no LOS to that hex. The default is to aim at the nearest
hex to the one requested. Trees block all over the place; G18 is the closest hex that is in LOS.
(And that is pretty close, but it's there.)

Segment 2:
Fast Draw has LOS to Guard. It's very close, but it's there
Eagle transfers his aim to hex E-A5 and aims with card 5: aim now 4
(Remember, actions are simultaneous. He noted to aim at The Kid, but
The Kid moved out of LOS on the same segment. So the default of "closest
hex to named target" was used. E-A5 was chosen as he could transfer aim
there, as opposed to G-B19 which has a smaller range but couldn't transfer
there. I always try to "default" in favor of the player when possible)
