Turn 15 Summary

Peeples saves wear at 140 on the green line. Tatum drops a wear at 160 and grabs the tailpipe on the red machine.

Walling runs the green for free at 140 and finds himself in a pocket of clean air.

Brandt grabs the green line at 160. Kennard sets up behind, also at 160.

Rae gains position at 180.

Harley burns a wear at 100 in the du Pont 80's. Puddifoot rounds the corner for free at 80 and tucks in behind the #27.

Turn 16 Summary

Peeples drops 2 wear in the Hotel corner at 120. Tatum does the same and pulls even to contest the lead.

Walling pulls up to the Virage de l'hotel at 120. Brandt dumps a wear in Verriere at 160 on the green.

Rae gets initiative at 180, clipping 2 tires on the green line then pulling up beside the M&M's car. Kennard runs the Verriere for free at 140 and keeps up with the bonus.

Harley scrubs 2 wear in the Verriere as he comes in hot at 180. Puddifoot keeps the pace at 160 and one bonus space (of two possible).

Turn 17 Summary

Peeples burns a wear at 100 via the 80's in the Saint Beaume. Tatum spends a wear to clear, also at 100.

Walling scrapes off a wear at 100 in the chicane.

Rae gets the initiative at 120. He clips 2 tires in the Virage de l'hotel 80's. Brandt, at 100, also dumps 2 via the 60's.

Kennard goes into the chicane at 100 for free.

Harley slows to 160 and pulls up in front of the chicane. Puddifoot runs Verriere on the green for free at 140.

Turn 18 Summary

Peeples is through L'ecole at 160. Tatum, also at 160, sits on his bumper.

Walling burns a wear at 100 via the St. Beaume 80's.*

Brandt gets initiative at 100, He drops a wear in the 80's and pulls up in Phils rear-view mirror. Rae conserves wear at 80 to set up a mini-conga line.

Kennard drops to 60 and noses into St. Beaume on the inner rail. Harley, at 100, scrapes a tire in the 80's of Virage de l'hotel before going outside for St. B.

Puddifoot deposits one wear into the kitty, running the chicane at 80 using the short route.

Turn 19 Summary

Peeples maintains 160. Tatum challenges for the lead at 180.

The conga line splits up...

Walling is onto the Mistral at 160. Brandt pulls even at 160 and the bonus. At 140 and the bonus, Rae falls behind.

Kennard rounds Saint B. at 60 on the inside. Harley burns a wear at 100, outer rail. Puddifoot clears the corner at 80, dropping a wear on the inner rail.

A new race leader!

Turn 20 Summary

Tatum has the initiative at 180 and goes right down the middle of the track. Peeples, at 160, finds the bumper on the black machine.

Walling pushes the power plant to 200 w/ 2s. Brandt, at 180, tucks in behind. Rae uses his big engine to reach 200 and re-forms the conga line we saw coming out of St. B.

Harley pushes on the Accel w/ 2s and flies through L'ecole at 200. Kennard comes out of St. B. at 120 and will fall behind the bigger engines. Puddifoot pushes the Accel to 180 w/ 2s and finds an air pocket between two cars, just a tad too far away from the #27 for his liking.

Turn 21 Summary

Tatum runs Signes on the line at 140 for a wear. Peeples goes middle lane at 140 and the bonus.

Walling races towards Signes at 180. Brandt eases off the pedal to 160 and drops inside with the double bonus. Rae, at 180, can't buy a slip this race.

Harley puts a little more pavement between him and his chasers at 200. Puddifoot loses some pace at 180. Kennard pushes his engine to 180, staying one space away from the #2.

Tatum pulls up to Beausett at 120. Peeples comes aside at 140, ready to go head-to-head again.

Brandt rolls outer rail at 160 for a wear and ducks inside. Walling runs the Signes line at 140 for a wear.

Rae clears Signes at 120 on the line. Harley sets up in front of Signes at 200 on the line.

Puddifoot and Kennard continue down the Mistral at 180 apiece. Kennard nicks 2 more skill.

Peeples takes back the lead at 120 for 2 wear. Tatum gets behind him at 100 using 1 through the 80's.

Walling dives into Beausset at 100 and drops a wear for the privilege. Brandt dives in right after at 100, also for a wear.

Rae pulls up at 120. Harley tucks in after paying a wear for 140 on the Signes line.

Puddifoot clears Signes at 120. Kennard chips in a tire at 140 and makes contact.

Peeples and Tatum each knock down a wear at 100 in Bendor.

Both Walling and Brandt finish out Le Beausset at 100 with wear already paid.

Rae clears Beausset at 80. Harley, at 100, goes middle lane for free.

Puddifoot sets up Le Beausset at 120. Kennard pulls up on his numbers at 140.

For those curious about the location of this track, it's in southern France, about 5 miles from the Mediterranean and 30 miles east of Marseilles.

Turn 25 Summary

Peeples runs up to the final corner at 120. Tatum has to maintain 100 and loses a few spaces to the leader.

Walling clears Bendor at 80. Brandt, also at 80, is hung in the corner.

Rae dives into Bendor at 100 for a wear. Harley finishes out Beausset at 100.

Kennard gets initiative at 100 and clips a tire in La Beausset. Puddifoot conserves the tires at 80 and clears.

Walling whips around Village & Tour at 140.

Brandt finishes out Bendor at 80. Rae does the same at 100 to run up on the numbers of the M&M's car.

Harley finds the Bendor exit at 80.

Kennard scrapes off a tire at 100 in the 80's. He shifts over to the outside at the apex. Puddifoot burns a wear at 120 via the 100's.

Turn 27 Summary

Peeples grabs the Verriere line at 160. Tatum rolls across the S/F line at 140.

Walling shaves off a wear at 100 via the 80's.

Brandt goes outer rail in du Pont for a wear at 100. Rae, also at 100, burns 2 wear on the inside and takes 4th place.

Harley is through Village & Tour at 120.

Kennard finishes out Bendor at 120, able to increase speed with wear already paid. Puddifoot continues at 120 and dives to the inside for another wear.

Peeples over-brakes with 2s to 100. He runs the Virage de l'hotel for a wear. Tatum pulls up to the corner at 120.

Walling rolls through Verriere on the line at 140.

Brandt gets the initiative at 160. He scrubs a tire on the green line before getting into Walling's exhaust. Rae runs the green for free at 140 and sets up a mini-conga line.

Harley grabs the green line at 160. Puddifoot stays on him, also at 160.

Kennard pushes the engine with 2s and keeps the pace at 160.
