Brent Rolls though the Chicane as the chase pack blasts down the straight, doing their best to keep up. Jack blasts the strongest as he cranks his engine to it's limit, passing Tony on the inside as he approaches the Chicane.

Behind them, Rando out paces a more conservative moving Guiseppe and tucks between him and Tony.

Back at Corner 2, David inches up on Bruce as they clear the corner

Turn 42 is due Wendesday at 6pm Eastern

A Challenge for the lead as Jack rumbles down the straightaway and cuts inside Brent as they size up Corner 8, the two drivers neck and neck!

Back behind them, Rando slices inside cutting off Tony, who's quick thinking and driving skills is able to slice his way outside of Rando. Guiseppe now seeing his line blocked, rolls outside and finds David cutting inside him to take 5th.

Behind them, the field easies its way through the twin chicanes as they try to keep up with the leaders.

The chase pack behind them works the lines, though Bruce has to take the slow way through 5-6 as the apex is cut off.

Turn 45 is due Wendesday at 6pm Eastern

A mostly quiet turn as drivers worked through the tight part of the course with balled tires.

At the back, some excitement as Marshall powers under Bruce, setting for a challenge for position in Corner 7.

RM Note:

For anyone looking at the Standings Sheet, due to the news of a driver retiring from C1 and C2, and with the retirement of Jerome in C3, at the current point, C3 will at most, have 1 demotion at the end of the season.

Turn 46 is due Friday at 6pm Eastern. This deadline is soft due to me space cadeting the turn. Sorry all!

Jack pulls through the soft 13-14 complex with Brent using the slip to stay right at his tail, as the mid pack works to clear Corner 12.

Back at Corner 7, a block by Marshall forces Bruce to run wide and set up for a side by side run to the bridge.

Turn 47 is due Monday at 6pm Eastern

Jack cuts wide in the corner as Brent pulls up short, setting up to be nose to tail again as they exit.

The field works through the 12-13-14 sector behind them, keeping it careful through the sharp opening, with Rando getting all he can out of his engine to keep ahead of thoes chasing.

Back at Corner 9, disaster has struck! Marshall attempts to force his way through the narrow gap of Corner 9 at unsafe speeds but he judges the apexs and slams into the inside barrier, before spinning off line as his car comes to a stop in pieces and out of the race.

With some Ace Driving Bruce is able to avoid him and the debris as he works through the corner himself, as Justin eases up to the carnage.

RM Notes:

Bruce's Crash Avoidance modifier is -2 due to stopping in the space the crash had occurred.

Turn 48 is due Wendesday at 6pm Eastern.

Jack peels out of Turn 15 using his final wear, stretching out his lead on Brent as they pull towards the final corners, with Brent taking the right route at easy speed.

Behind them a last ditch effort for second ends up in disaster, as Rando's attempt to wheel it through Turn 15 goes awry! An entry too shallow into the corner causes him to smash his wing against the inside barrier and bend his front suspension out of shape. Knowing he is unable to finish on three wheels, he pulls it to the Barrier and out of the race.

Tony pulls short and avoids getting caught in Rando's accident, before he finds David blasting up to the corner and pulling up aside of him to challenge for what is now third.

The chasers work their way through the back corners and the chicanes, but not without trouble as a misjudgement by Justin causes his third spin in Corner 9.

Turn 49 is due Friday at 6pm Eastern.

Brent and Jack work through Corner 16 as they work to the final chicane.

Back at Corner 15, David uses his still good tires to wheel his way through the inside, and pull past Tony for third.

A reporter caught up to Rando who had this comment on the accident:

"I rolled chance because the most likely scenario I saw otherwise was that INgraham would pass me but not Fritz -- that I would then finish 5th in the season standings. Whereas with a successful chance, I had every chance to hold off Ingraham and qualify for promotion. I sincerely congratulate the podium finishers (all finishers, actually). And I congratulate those who will gain promotion."
