Only one position change but still plenty of battles

Turn 15 summary:
Brandt is through the final corner on the inside and heading down the long main straightaway.
Blizzard takes the green racing line for free and also is heading for the start/finish line.
Kennard conserves wear through the corner 16 racing line at 100.
Schulz hits the inner 80 at 100 for one wear.

Miller blasts into corner 16 at 140 shedding two wear on the racing line.
Kennington keeps at 100 dropping two wear in the 60 and starts the corner 16 line.
Brown finishes the 60s at 100 and picks up P6 on the inside.
Bauska leaves two wear behind on the 60s at 100 and tucks in behind Brown.

Haskell drops one wear through the inside of corner 15 at 80.
Baker starts at 120 then slams on the brakes before the corner knocking off two wear in the 60s.
Peeples wanted the same move but he's forced to the outside.
Burnett makes up a car length at 120 scrubbing off one ware in the 100.

The front 5 reach their top speeds and head for lap 2

Turn 16 summary:
Brandt holds a steady 160 and keeps to the inside.
Blizzard also is at 160, tagging up behind Brandt.
Kennard uses his full acceleration to get to 160 and runs the corner on the inside.
Schulz reaches 160 as well holding close to the curb.

Miller mirrors Schulz's move to remain at his side.
Brown turns the inside of corner 16 at 100 for one wear.
Kennington swings across the racing line at 100 wear free.
Bauska follows the yellow race car around the inside for the same one wear.

Haskell approaches the corner at 120 and then locks up the brakes to get to 80 on the line.
Baker comes around the red machine at 120 into the 100s scrubbing off one wear.
Peeples slows to 60 to finish corner 15 for free.
Burnett is already paid for 20 over, finishing the corner at 80 and pulling even with Peeples.

The leaders start lap 2 - one car drops out

Turn 17 summary:
Brandt swings to the outside to start lap 2 into corner 1 on the line.
Blizzard follows the leader at 160.
Kennard uses his full acceleration to get to 160.
Schulz does the same maintaining the 2 car-length gap.

Miller suddenly dives to the pits. It looks like the black machine is out (NPR #3 same lap).
Brown travels the corner 19 160 at speed.
Kennington gets to high gear and uses the racing line at 180.
Bauska follows Brown through the corner at 160, making it 3-wide with the slip.

Haskell lets his big engine loose but then has to brake hard with the wall in front of him.
Baker continues the corner 16 racing line at 120.
Burnett jumps into corner 16 on the line at 140 shedding two wear.
Peeples concedes the position for now, dropping one wear on the line at 120 and tucking in behind Burnett.

Three cars hit 200, one shows a little smoke trying for 180

Turn 18 summary:
Brandt sheds two wear around the corner 1 racing line.
Blizzard follows using a slip to save a wear.
Kennard maintains his top speed and starts the line.
Schulz is also at 160 opting for the middle lane.

Brown winds up his big engine to 200 down the straightaway to the delight of the crowd.
Kennington grabs his top gear, tucking in behind the yellow machine at 180.
Bauska tries to feather his engine to 180 but it just won't take it.
Haskell, not to be outdone, moves up a position at 200.

Baker swings through the inside of corner 19 at 160.
Burnett pushes successfully to 200, benefitting from the green racing line.
Peeples comes up through the gears to 180 and gets the double pull from Burnett, setting up behind Baker.

(Note: Baker asked for the inside. Burnett did not specify a finish position so he gets the default inside. Peeples asked for a slip position. The inside of the track shifts where they are.)

Turn 19 summary:
Brandt drops one wear on the corner 2 racing line and clears the corner.
Blizzard had the same idea but chooses the outside for free instead.
Kennard is two wear lighter after running the corner 1 line at 120.
Schulz clears the corner on the line at 100 for one wear.

Brown uses all his brakes to get to 140, shedding one wear in the 120.
Kennington keeps to the inside at 140.
Haskell chooses the line with the inside already occupied.
Bauska uses a slip from Kennington to make it three wide at corner entrance.

Baker keeps at his top speed on the inside.
Burnett keeps the pedal down and his engine continues to hum at 200.
Peeples uses the bonus to pull even with the light green car at 160.

Turn 20 summary:
Brandt stretches it out at 140.
Blizzard slows to 80 to finish corner 2 for free.
Kennard drops two wear on the line to challenge for P2.
Schulz is into the corner 2 100s at 120 for one wear.

Kennington sheds two wear on the inside of corner 1 at 100 and sets up for the corner 2 line.
Brown slows to 80 and finishes the outside of corner 1 with wear already paid.
Haskell conserves his tires on the corner 1 line at speed.
Bauska completes the outside of corner 1 at 80 scrubbing off one wear.

Burnett stays outside in the corner at 140 knocking off one wear.
Baker gets the initiative at 140 then late brakes on the racing line.
Peeples reacts to the line being occupied by dropping to the inside and picking up P10.

Corner 2 gathers the group back up

Turn 21 summary:
Brandt clears the corner 3/4 combination at 100 on the lines for one wear.
Blizzard pushes his acceleration to get the initiative and start the line into corner 3.
Kennard can reach 160 with no dice, finishing inside.
Schulz continues his wear through the 80s at 100 and moves to the inside.

Kennington slows to 60 and rounds the corner on the racing line for free.
Brown wanted the line at 100 but is forced to the middle lane, shedding two wear in the 60 space.
Haskell at 80 drops one wear on the line and also clears the corner.
Bauska runs into the middle lane at 100 for one wear.

Burnett finishes the 80s for paid wear and moves inside.
Baker also has paid to stay at 120 and finish the corner 1 line. He starts the line into corner 2.
Peeples surrenders two wear to follow Baker through the corner 1 line at 120.

Three wide again into corner 3/4, which exits with two lanes

Turn 22 summary:
Brandt comes off corner 4 and drives hard into corner 5 shedding two wear on the line.
Kennard runs the corner 3 80s and corner 4 racing line at 120 for two wear.
Blizzard is able to take both lines through the 3/4 combination at 100 scrubbing off one wear.
Schulz starts the corner 3 line at 140.

Kennigton is also at 140 down the straightaway.
Haskell exits corner 2 at 160 and is even with Kennigton.
Brown keeps pace with the red machine and takes it three wide.
Bauska maintains 100 through the 60, spending the additional wear in the 60.

Baker drops one wear on the corner 2 line at 80 and tucks in behind Bauska.
Peeples follows through at 80 also surrendering one wear.
Burnett is happy to trade one wear to follow the purple machine through the line at 80.

Brandt maintains his lead, but Kennard and Blizzard are not making it easy

Turn 23 summary:
Brandt holds steady at 100 to finish corner 6 and start the line into corner 7.
Kennard gets the initiative at 80 through the 5/6 combination on the line for one wear.
Blizzard slows to 60 and drops one wear in the 40s to clear the corner.
Schulz is through corners 3 & 4 on the lines at 80 for free.

Kennington has the inside at 100 taking both lines for one wear.
Haskell is also at 100, saving wear in the 100s
Brown minimuzes wear at 100 through the 80s and the second racing line shedding one wear.

Turn 24 summary:
Brandt taps the brakes to 60 around the corner 7 line for free.
Kennard lays up in front of the corner on the racing line.
Blizzard shoots to the inside of the green race car and back into P2 for the moment.
Schulz clears the corner 5/6 combination at 80 for one wear on the line.

Kennington sheds one wear on the racing line at 80, following Schulz through.
Brown slows to 80 and picks up the racing line behind the yellow machine.
Haskell grabs the line in corner 4 at 80 for free and tucks in behind Brown.
Baker runs the 60s through 5 & 6 dropping two wear.

Peeples takes the 80s and picks up the second line at 100 scrubbing off one wear.
Bauska at 100 finds the second line blocked and chooses the 80s for one wear.

Kennard takes the corner 7 racing line at 80 dropping one wear.
Blizzard shifts to the outside of the corner at 60 for free.
Schulz starts the line into corner 7 at 100.

Kennington continues the line at 80 then moves to the inside.
Brown slows slightly to 60 and takes the line at speed.
Baker gets the initiative at 80 then brakes before the corner 40s shedding one wear.
Haskell hasn't got the line available so he takes the 40/60s for one wear.

Peeples has room on the corner 5 racing line at 80 scrubbing off one wear.
Burnett comes off corner 4 and starts into corner 5 on the line.
Buaska at 80 has only the inside lane available.

Baker is through corner 8 at 60 and has to move outside.

Haskell puts a wear in the tight corner 8 at 80.
Bauska tries the line at 80 but his tires fail to stick and around he goes.
Burnett swings wide in the corner to avoid the spinning gray machine.
