Positions continue to shuffle as those with rubber left try to make the best of it

Turn 42 summary:
Schulz holds tight to the inside around corner 7 dropping one wear.
Kennard takes the line for free to stay even.
Blizzard starts the corner 7 line at 60.
Brandt comes out of corner 6 at 100 and moves inside Blizzard for P3.

Peeples anticipates the two wide in front and does 80 to pick up the line behind Blizzard.
Kennington can accelerate to 60 to finish 6 and move inside.
Baker approaches the chicane at 80 then brakes to 60 on the line for free.

Brown nurses his bald tires into corner 5 at 60 on the outside.
Burnett is able to run the 40/60 at 80 for two wear and P8.
Haskell approaches the corner on the racing line.

A naked chance roll and a queue around corner 7.

Turn 43 summary:
Schulz starts at 80 then brakes for the corner and holds the inside lane.
Kennard drops one wear in the 60 at 80 and is forced outside.
Brandt sheds a wear through the 60s at 80.
Blizzard holds a steady 60 around the corner 7 line.

Peeples taps the brakes to 60 for the racing line.
Kennington counts on his tires to hold the line at 80 and they barely do.
Baker comes out of corner 6 at 100 and starts the line behind the blue machine.

Burnett has paid to accelerate to 100 to finish the 60s and tuck in behind Baker on the line.
Brown at 60 finishes the 60s and moves to the right to yield to Haskell behind him.
Haskell, however, is not sure what the yellow car might do. He slows to 40 through the 40s to be safe.

NOTE: Due to various dropouts, we will be relegating only 2 drivers (Miller will not be back next season). This means there is a tie for the relegation cut-off between Blizzard and Kennington. Blizzard has the tie-breaker for now.

Turn 44 summary:

Schulz drops his last wear on the corner 12 racing line at 80.
Kennard tried to get the jump at 80 then brakes to 60 around the line for free.
Brandt is through the tight section at 60.
Blizzard follows at 60 and must move outside.

Peeples is into corner 8 at 60.
Kennington finishes the corner 7 line at 60 to keep pace.
Baker takes the corner 7 line behind the blue race car.

Burnett keeps the queue intact at 60 on the line.
Brown starts the corner 7 line at 80.
Haskell comes off corner 6 at 100 and moves inside for the position.

Turn 45 summary:
Schulz hammers the gas to 140.
Kennard gets his maximum acceleration to 120 losing another length on the leader.
Brandt takes the corner 12 racing line at speed.
Blizzard follows Brandt and clears on the line.

Peeples drops one wear in the corner 12 60s at 80 and clears the corner.
Kennington is safe at 60, starting the corner 12 racing line.
Baker bides his time through corner 8 at 60 for free.

Burnett follows on at 60 into the narrow corner.
Haskell swings wide for corner 7 but then drops back to the inside.
Brown takes the line for free and slides back ahead by a length.

Turn 46 summary:
Schulz swings wide into corner 15 at 80.
Kennard follows at 100 and again is on the leaders tail.
Brandt's full acceleration gets him to 120.
Blizzard comes off corner 12 also at 120 and uses the bonus to pull even.

Peeples follows the pair in front at 120.
Kennington rounds the corner 12 line at 60 for free.
Baker careens through corner 12 at 100 dropping half his remaining wear.

Burnett sheds one wear through the corner 12 line at 80.
Brown negotiates the tight corners at 60.
Haskell follows the yellow race car also at 60.

No positions change this turn but there are still plenty of on-track battles

Turn 47 summary:
Schulz finishes corner 15 through the 60 at speed and moves inside.
Kennard follows also at 60 and starts for the inside as well.
Brandt approaches the corner at 140 then brakes hard to 120 dropping one wear in the 100s
Blizzard hangs on to his last wear doing 100 into the corner behind Brandt.

Peeples taps the brakes to 100 on the inside.
Baker fires through the 13/14 combination at 140 and catches the purple machine.
Kennington duplicates Baker's move to keep on his tail pipe.

Burnett pushes his acceleration and his engine grants him 160 bringing him even with the blue race car.
Brown takes the racing line at speed.
Haskell follows also at 60 and clears.

Another car out of the race.

Turn 48 summary:
Schulz clears corner 16 on the line at is ready to see the checkered flag.
Kennard follows on the line at 100 but can't clear.
Brandt paid for +20 finishing corner 15 at 80.
Blizzard slows slightly to 80 and drops his last wear in the 60.

Peeples blasts through corner 15 on the inside at 100 trading two wear for two positions.
Baker spends half of his remaining wear to run through the 60s at 80.
Kennington again asks his damaged brakes to slow him to 80 but the front hubs explode and only the kitty litter stops him.

Burnett also plows through 15 on the inside at 100 bringing his tires to bald.
Brown gets his maximum acceleration to 120.
Haskell's slightly bigger engine brings him to 140 and even with Brown.

Turn 48 summary:
Schulz winds it up to 160 through corners 18 and 19
Kennard finishes the corner 16 line at 100 and starts the green line into corner 18/19
Brandt beats Peeples into corner 16 taking the line at 100 for free.

Peeples slows to 80 around the inside to maintain P3.
Blizzard clears the corner on the line at 100.
Baker starts at 120 then brakes before the corner only to hear the grinding metal signalling trouble

Burnett is forced to the outside of the corner at 100.
Haskell finally makes his move into corner 15 at 120 shedding his final wear and grabbing P8
Brown slows to 80 before the corner and watches the red car helplessly.

Schulz is the race winner while Peeples wraps up the season championship

Turn 51 summary:
Schulz flashes across the finish line at 160 for the win.
Kennard follows on all alone for P2.
Peeples maintains 160 in an effort to keep the pink machine behind him.

Brandt expects to end up behind Peeples but instead keeps pace at 160.
Blizzard's engine holds up at 180 to make it a 3-wide dash to the finish.
Baker comes through corners 18 & 19 at 140 and moves inside.

Burnett follows Baker through at 160 and pulls even to challenge for the position.
Haskell is clear of corner 16 on the line at 100 for free.
Brown is also on the line at 100 but not clear of the corner.

The 3-wide stays intact across the line.

Turn 52 summary:
Peeples pushes for 200 and his engine spit a little smoke.
Brandt tries for 180 and his engine is more benvolent.
Blizzard needs a little more top speed to keep up, and he gets it.

Burnett gets high gear and slides into P6 at 180.
Baker surrenders the position at 160.
Haskell wants to wow the crowd by getting to 200 in a hurry. His engine builder winces at the result.
Brown finishes corner 16 and heads for home.

There are no more passes possible:
Burnett needs to only play 140 to wrap up P6
Baker, even with a slip, can't pass
Haskell has just enough room to do 200 then 140 to finishe
Brown, even if he pushes twice to 220 can't catch Haskell
