Also, I've been searching for a Hamachi Network for Victoria II and found one on Hamachi France. They have a few networks running but most of them were full (since Hamachi sets a limit of 15 people per network)

I was talking with the host (Nazoura) in a mix of French and English and was able to get by,* so hopefully we anglophones will be fine when it comes to testing out the game.

*His English was far better than my French, so that helped a great deal.

what a sick game that was. I pick a nice peaceful nation full of trade benefits. Did not wage war at all just boosting my economy and tech. in 50 years of game: I had all my techs at 8, 2 national ideas on Bank and TRade,I had 5 merchants in ALL the trade posts(7) of my map almost non stop.

Results: a) Total income of 49 active traders +bonuses was mere a 50 $ pfffft.....my investment always rises alongside hence profit was minuscule. I tried to have zero inflation too.

b) Austria picks an event "War of Aggression"..bye bye game!

Sick as in distorted, perhaps cruel or sick as in cool, fascinating. I've heard the word use in a variety of ways, I can never be sure what it means anymore. These multiple meanings make me sick.

Unfortunately, for the next two Mondays (21, 28 March) I won't be able to make it for our usual Hamachi game nights (well its night/very early morning for me.)

Once the semester is complete, however, I know a classmate who may be interested in taking part as well. He is more of a Hearts of Iron person (so he claims) but I think he can be converted to the world of EU III and Victoria II

Im quite flexible with time really i have several on going games (hoi, eu3) at very very odd hours of the day. So if use do decide to play at some other time let me know as i might be able to make it :P

Nations are being given by a system of preference/skill. So good players will get the shittest nations whilst relative new players will get the bigger countrys :O

This game runs from 1800CET - 2200 CET on tuesdays..... once a week.

I didn't know you had Divine Wind. How is that version of the game?

It is very good. China and japan have there own systems for mandate of heaven and for shogunate.

There are many map imporvements.

Hey I was jus wondering, I have the crack copy, and no one near my LAN has Vicky 2, so if anyone were to host a game, would they tell me?

As today is Victoria Day, I thought it would be suiting to play Victoria II again. :)
