I've played Civ V til my computer burned holes in my retinas. It's definitely the best of the Civ series in my opinion. I also don't mind Beyond Earth but the factions aren't very memorable. Probably the only Civs worth playing or even remembering in BE are Brasilia and the Slavic Federation. And that's because their leaders where uniforms rather than suits. Although I did play a pretty decent game as Polystralia (space Brits! No seriously, this is as close to Space British Empire as you can get without uploading mods) with Harmony alignment.

awesome! But I think I'll stick to the Earth-bound Civ V. Beyond Earth doesn't sound too appealing in a game designed to loosely represent ancient and/or modern civilizations. But that's just my view.
I don't like that you really can't go all-out during a war or you get the reputation as a warmonger. What's a good empire game without getting to kick the sh*t out of other civs?

Anyone see the new Civ VI?
