Builds are in. A wide variety of strategies are represented - this track is not a one trick pony.

There is one triplicate build (Chris, Rob, & Stephen) with a 'from the front', weak car strategy. All others are unique. Four drivers (20 start speed) think they can take this from the back but are there enough passing opportunities? Wear is very popular, brakes are not. Tim's big stack of skill chips stands out - warm up those dice!

Note: The clock always shows 0:00:00 because we used it as a timer for plotting. I reset the timer to 60 seconds immediately after taking each picture. I may add a 2nd clock next time as a time reference.

: Gentlemen, start your engines!

: T1: Eight cars push and seven make it. Kevin has a recent history of failing these rolls and today was no exception. Rob needed all of his big chip with the dice showing 11. Don & Mike play it safe.

: T2: Rob & Chris begin their rolling roadblock as the cars enter the 2-wide section of track.

: T3: The chase pack enters the narrow track without drama.

: T4: Millstone Turn takes its toll on the tires.

: T5: Millstone continues to charge for entry except for the two backmarkers.

: T6: The roadblock continues. Stephen & Rando are forced into late brakes. This was to be a common problem for most of the field throughout the morning.

: T7: More late braking. The dice say 'no' to Rando, however, as his brakes go up in smoke.

: T8: How many slips did Stephen give up in the opening lap because of that roadblock?

: T10: Don pulls in with the lead pack. Mike drops the first 180 of the race.

: T11: Look at that board - 17 wear! The Hairpin will always eat wear but this time the Bend also contributes to the tire massacre.

: T12: Tim is the only driver to clear the Hairpin in a single turn (chance roll w/ a 3s chip). He does it later, as well.

: T13: Chris pushes his engine and the roadblock is intact.

: T14: Rob breaks formation and the floodgates open.

: T19: Position battles through Millstone Turn.

: T20: They're stacked & packed in front of Colasante Corner. Rob really wanted initiative. He late brakes by 40 to clear the corner (1w + dice).

: T22: Some aggressiveness through Echo Valley earns Don a slip.

: T23: The backstretch provides another moment of serenity.

: T24: Kevin makes his move to take 2nd. Rando picks up a double slip in the back.

: T25: Another loaded resource board (only 14 wear this time). Rando's day is over as his brakes give up the ghost.

: T26: Every car in the Hairpin except for Rob.
