Big runs down the main straight

Turn 13 summary:
Bauska clears the next corner at 120 shedding two wear.
Schulz puts the short chute behind him at 120.
Kennington uses the outer red racing line at 160 dropping one wear.
Peeples avails himself of the green line at 160 for one wear, retaking P3.

Haskell opens up his rocket to the delight of the crowd, starting the green line.
Kennard continues the show at 180 and starts the line behind the red machine.
Brandt matches Kennard's 180 moving to the inside.
Burnett is the beneficiary of the double slip bringing him into a three-wide.

Miller scrubs off one wear through the 80/100 at 100.
Blizzard is also at 100 choosing the conservative route around the outside.
Brown at 120 takes the inside knocking off two wear to move up one spot.
Baker follows the yellow race car's path also leaving two wear behind to gain P11.

More power passing the main grandstand

Turn 14 summary:
Bauska takes off through the Parabolika.
Schulz sheds two wear through the 80s and takes the middle trying to defeat the draft.
Peeples also runs the 80s at 120 and anticipates Schulz's move.
Kennington uses his big brakes to get to 100 and takes a slip through the 80s for one wear keeping the line intact.

Haskell needs all his deceleration to get to 140 running the green racing line for free.
Burnett is two wear lighter taking the inside line at 160.
Brandt follows around the inner line at 140 scrubbing off one wear.
Kennard is wear free around the green line at 140, a slip bringing him into a 3-wide.

Brown lets his big engine loose and starts the green line into Nordkurve.
Baker pushes his engine for 180 and it responds bringing him to the outside red racing line.
Miller has enough acceleration to get to 160 as he starts the green line behind the yellow machine.
Blizzard has 160 and a slip to start the inner line inside Miller.

Turn 15 summary:
Bauska slows to 140 approaching the hairpin.
Schulz hits his top speed of 160.
Peeples also at 160 gets the slip to move even with Schulz.
Kennington at 160 uses a slip to stay in touch.

Haskell sheds two wear around the 80s at 120.
Kennard replicates Haskell's move.
Burnett drops one wear at 100 also around the 80s.
Brandt is through the 80s at 100 for one wear and tucks in behind Burnett.

Baker is first through Nordkurve at 160 on the outer red line scrubbing off one wear.
Brown follows at 140 on the green line for free, choosing the outside lane.
Blizzard runs the inner red line at 160 knocking off two wear and slotting into the inside.
Miller slows slightly to 140 around the green racing line at no cost.

A fight for the lead develops into the hairpin

Turn 16 summary:
Bauska relies on his damaged brakes to get him down to 100 on the line.
Schulz starts the line behind the leader at 160.
Peeples also approaches at 160 moving to the inside.
Kennington maxes at 160 and uses the slip to make it three wide.

Haskell lights up the backstretch at 200.
Kennard hits his top speed of 180 and is right behind the red race car.
Burnett can only reach 160 but he gets the big bonus from Haskell.
Brandt is able to muster 180 but loses touch with his group.

Baker is first of his three wide through the corner, shedding two wear in the 80s.
Brown, likewise, drops two wear at 120 to keep even.
Blizzard has to slow to 100 through the inside knocking off two wear and re-forming the wall.
Miller is a bit more conservative giving up one wear around the 80s at 100.

Turn 17 summary:
Bauska sheds two wear on the racing line at 100 and maintains his two car-length lead.
Peeples comes through next at 120 for two wear taking the outside all the way then dropping in to block the line.
Schulz also drops two wear at 120 starting the 80s then dropping to the inner line to complete the corner.
Kennington follows Schulz through the hairpin at 100 for a one wear payment.

Haskell slows to 160 and starts the line into the hairpin.
Kennard maintains 180 choosing the outside approach.
Burnett maxes out at 160 and starts the line behind the red race car.
Brandt holds at 180 and positions himself to be next on the line.

Baker is hard on the accelerator, his engine holds letting him fly through the Parabolika at 180.
Brown matches Baker's speed and keeps even.
Blizzard can get to 160, tucking in behind Baker.
Miller spots a young lady with big tacos in the stands and thinks he should have eaten before the race (NPR).

Turn 18 summary:
Bauska clears the kink at 120 dropping two wear.
Schulz starts the line at 140.
Peeples is happy to back off to 120 and preserve access to the line next turn.
Kennington uses a slip to even things up with Peeples.

Kennard hits the 80s then shifts to the outer racing line at 120 for two wear.
Haskell follows the green machine through the hairpin at 100 shedding one wear.
Burnett chooses to run the inner line at 100 knocking off two wear.
Brandt is hard on the brakes to get down to 100 following Burnett also for two wear.

Baker approaches the hairpin at 160 starting the line.
Brown also taps the brakes to 160 moving to the outside of Baker.
Blizzard stays at his top speed of 160 and gets the bonus, slotting himself inside of a three-wide.
Miller, too, keeps at his top of 160 hoping the corner will help him join the group in front of him.

Turn 19 summary:
Bauska is clear of Mobil 1 on the line for free.
Schulz slows to 80 through the corner on the line to hold on to P2.
Peeples follows through on the line also at 80.
Kennington matches the purple car's move.

Kennard at 120 starts the line for the kink.
Burnett moves to the inside to pick up one position.
Haskell uses a slip to make it three wide.
Brandt settles behind Burnett.

Blizzard runs the 60s all the way at 100 dropping two wear.
Baker takes the inner racing line at 100 also shedding two wear.
Brown starts in the 80s before shifting to the second line all at 100 for one wear.
Miller knocks off two wear through the inner line to clear the corner at 100.

The mid-pack and chase pack begin to merge as we head towards the white flag lap

Turn 20 summary:
Bauska hits the Sachs racing line at 100 giving up his final wear point.
Schulz runs the Mobil 1 line at 120 and starts the line into Sachs.
Peeples is around the Mobil 1 line at speed as well.
Kennington also takes the free route on the line at 120.

Kennard is first through the kink on the line at 80.
Haskell follows through the 80s for free and tucks in behind Kennard.
Burnett uses his big brakes to get down to 60 through the 60 space.
Brandt takes the corner at 80 around the outside.

Baker is able to clear the corner by trading two wear for a 120 on the racing line.
Blizzard also sheds two wear, using the slip to go into the 80s at 120.
Brown approaches on the racing line at 140.
Miller matches the 140 move lining up behind the yellow machine.

Next deadline: turn 21 due Wednesday, November 25 at 4pm EST/9pm UTC

Note: Thursday is Thanksgiving Day in the U.S. and most people are also off work on Friday making it a four day weekend. Friday's deadline will be soft and no reminder will be sent Friday. Of course, if I have all moves I will put the turn out.

The leader's bald tires make him cautious

Turn 21 summary:
Bauska slows to 80 and starts Sudkurve at speed.
Schulz round Sachs at 80 on the line and sees the tire smoke ahead.
Peeples follows the line at speed as well.
Kennington wanted the line but gets forced around the inside of the corner shedding one wear.

Kennard takes the line through Mobil 1 and starts the next one into Sachs.
Haskell duplicates Kennard's move, using the bonus to pull to the inside and pick up the position.
Burnett tucks in behind the red machine after following through the corner.
Brandt takes the line behind the group in front, a slip puts him right back into the box formation.

Baker finishes the line in the kink and clears Mobil 1 on the line.
Blizzard finishes the 80s and tags along with Baker for the next corner.
Brown is happy to take the corner at speed.
Miller keeps attached to the yellow race car.

Next deadline: turn 22 due Friday, November 27 (soft), Monday, Novemeber 30 (hard) at 4pm EST/9pm UTC

The chase pack snakes through Sachs as the leader prepares to take the white flag

Turn 22 summary:
Bauska finishes Sudkurve through the 100s at speed.
Schulz drops one wear around the 100s at 120 and sits just two car lengths behind the leader.
Kennington blasts through the final corner at 140 leaving two wear in the 100s.
Peeples uses a free 100 move and a slip to stay on Schulz's wing.

Kennard takes the Sachs line at 100 scrubbing off one wear.
Haskell, likewise, is a wear lighter after running the 60s at 80.
Burnett is safe on the line at 80.
Brandt slows to 60 on the inside of the corner.

Baker was looking for the line but Brandt's machine forces him outside for two wear.
Blizzard follows up with room on the line at 100 knocking off one wear.
Brown is through Mobil 1 at 120 and starts the Sachs line.
Miller also runs Mobil 1 at 120 and uses the slip to drop inside the yellow machine and into P11.

As we begin the last lap, except for the leader, wear is relatively abundant.

Turn 23 summary:

Bauska reaches Nordkurve on the green line at 160.
Kennington successfully pushes his top speed to 180 taking P2 and sitting one length behind the leader.
Schulz maxes at 160 to also start the green racing line behind the front two.
Peeples uses a slip at 140 to keep pace.

Kennard drops one wear through the 100s at 120.
Haskell combines a wear and a slip through the 100s to pull even with the green race car.
Burnett duplicates Haskell's move tucking in behind Kennard.
Brandt also surrenders one wear through the 100s at 120.

Baker is more aggressive through Sudkurve on the inside at 120 shedding two wear, using the slip to make up a length.
Blizzard finishes the Sachs line at 100, wear paid, and starts the 100s through Sudkurve.
Brown moves up two positions by using two wear on the Sachs line followed by two more in the Sudkurve 80.
Miller scrubs off one wear around the 60s at 80.

The leader is in the kitty litter while the rear pack breaks up into the main straight

Turn 24 summary:
Bauska leans hard on the brakes and they floor, the gravel stopping him just before he hits the tire barrier.
Kennington negotiates the green racing line at 140 and assumes the lead.
Schulz taps the brakes to 140 and follows the blue car.
Peeples' 140 plus the slip brings him even with Schulz.

Kennard is the first to hit 180 this turn, starting the green racing line.
Haskell is able to keep pace also at 180 choosing the outer red ilne.
Burnett uses his 160 max and the double slip to finish inside at corner entrance and into P5 for now.
Baker gets high gear to 160 and starts the green line behind Kennard.

Brandt exits Sudkurve at 180 and is within striking distance of the mid-pack.
Brown is able to accelerate to 140 and is all alone in P10, the last points position.
Blizzard finish the 100s at speed.
