Here's the starting grid after opening bids:
Unfortunately, we once again had some people who couldn't attend, so both Chris K and Josh were removed from the track, leaving us with an updated starting grid of this:
At the start of the race, with only 6 of us, the wear counts looked like this:
Jim M - 20
Tim B - 24
Fabio - 24
Chris L - 24
James - 24
Tim K - 24

Turn 2James decides to immediately roll chance in the big bend in order to catch up to the leaders. Jim also spent skill here because he forgot Big Bend slows down halfway and plotted to maintain. Luckily he had a space to move which allowed him to late brake instead of being forced into a chance roll he hadn't planned on.

Turn 7Jim has slow played the back three corners and he's through the first lap, while everyone else is simply following his wake.

Turn 11Tim B in second, slows plays to save wear, which allowed Fabio in third to run around the outside for 2W and skip right by him to line up on the arrow. Fabio has been spending heavily but this move was pure brilliance. It was at this point that I joked that Fabio must be listening into Tim's radio channel with his pit crew.

Turn 12Fabio continues to spend heavily to catch the leader. Meanwhile Tim K decides to go around the outside in corner 2 and spend nothing on the two corner combination. Chris sees it coming though and plots 100 to make it through both anyway.

Turn 13Jim and Fabio both decided to floor it through corner 4. Jim thinks he's going to catch Fabio off guard and open up some room, instead finds Fabio stealing the lead from him with a slip.
