Turn 29Fabio continues his inexorable march to victory, while the rest of us jockey to see who comes in second.

Turn 30Chris has seen this play out last lap and decides to slow play it and lose position. James, decides he wants to try to catch back up.

Turn 31Everyone lines up for corner 6, while Fabio happily leaves us in his dust.

Turn 32The end of lap 4! The long nightmare is almost over! Everyone clears corner 6, although James had to spend heavily to catch up to us after that spin.
Wear counts at the end of lap 4:
Fabio - 5 (spent 3)
Jim M - 6 (spent 4)
Tim K - 5 (spent 7)
Tim B - 2 (spent 2)
Chris L - 9 (spent 3)
James - 6 (spent 6)

Turn 33Fabio heads into corner 1 for the last time while the pack lines up single file (mostly). Chris attempts to not get left behind by James by pushing his accel. Instead he breaks it and winds up in last place anyway. He will finish the race with 20 accel, which doesn't actually hurt nearly as much as I thought it would at the time.

Turn 34Okay, this was a turn if ever I saw one. Let's break it down for you quick:
1. Jim plots 120 and then late-brakes and takes the 60's for 2W
2. Tim K also plots 120 but Jim took his spot so he late-brakes and takes the outside to eat up spaces and sits behind Jim.
3. Tim B plots 100 and takes the inside and then chance rolls through the 40's AND takes a slip to wind up right behind Fabio.
4. James and Chris at the back simply plot 100 and take the inside for 2W.

Turn 35Fabio runs through both corners. Tim B slow plays because he's out of wear, while Jim goes around him.

Turn 36Tim K. slow plays the corner combination and sits on the line. James decides to instead go through him and forced passes. This allows Chris who plotted high to also make it through both corners, completely unexpectedly.

Tun 37Fabio who? It was at this point that we realized that not only would he beat us but he could easily finish with wear and skill still on the table. Chris falls behind as he realizes he left most of his engine on the straightaway by corner 6.

Turn 38Chris continues to spend out because his car damage won't allow him to slow down anymore. Jim clears corner 5 with his last wear to get within a space of Fabio, but that's just Fabio teasing us at this point. No one is close to touching him. Tim B. meanwhile spent his last wear in corner 1 but has managed to hang onto his lead and sit the lines for free regardless.

Turn 39Fabio spends his last wear flying through the final corner, only because he's not allowed to save it for next race (I told him no when he asked). Jim heads into the corner but will be maintaining next turn and everyone else lines up.

Turn 401. Fabio crosses the line to thunderous applause.
2. Jim finishes the corner and clears the line.
3. Tim K moves first and takes the outside and then sits on the line.
4. This blocks Tim B who then also takes the outside and moves inside.
5. James decides to try one more chance roll, this time naked and spins once again.
6. Chris also plotted 140 but had the wear James didn't. He then late brakes and takes the 80's for the same 2W and hops right past Tim and Tim.
