This season, we are running a set of Robert Merino's F1 tracks of the 1970's.

Race on the same tracks as Lauda, Stewart, Fittipaldi, and Hunt. Go back in time to when Ferrari and McLaren were vying for titles against the long gone Lotus and Tyrrell teams. And thanks to TV exposure and money, we got to see cigarettes and booze on those iconic liveries.

All races are scheduled for three laps.

Dates

Season races run September through December (one per month) with the final in January. You may join after the season starts though more races gives you a better chance of qualifying for the final. You are expected to race in only one division for the season.

One driver from Thursday and one driver from Saturday have each clinched a spot in the finals. No one from Sunday has clinched a spot. Several in each division can win and clinch a spot, a few can finish 2nd and clinch a spot, and one can finish 3rd and clinch a spot.

Most drivers that have a shot at the finals have a shot at the automatic berth from their division. So their potential score is shown in yellow. The current wildcard bogey is 40 points, so the wildcard winner will have at least 40 points.

Reminder of legend. Green indicates a spot clinched in the finals with that finish. Yellow indicates that it is possible with that finish, but other drivers have an impact. Orange indicates no chance for an automatic spot, but possible for the wildcard. Red indicates that that driver will not make the finals with that possible finish.
