All builds in except one. Mike takes the default build per Redscape House Rules.

Notes
- One triple with Michael, John, and Paul having the same set-up.
- Only two cars with top speed of 160.
- ACC and Brakes are a mixed bag of 40's and 60's.
- Two start speed of 100 and only one at 20.
- Half the field goes with a full boat of tires.
- Four drivers put a point into skill, somewhat unusual.

Starting bid deadline: Friday, June 5th @ 7 a.m. EDT (11 a.m. UTC)

Bids are in and the grid is set!

Please note the shift of the inside lane at the start/finish line.

Note: The NPR was removed from Mike's record. I was complicit in the missed deadline. With apologies, Mike.

The green flag drops, twelve engines scream, and the crowd roars!

Seven drivers push their start speeds and all succeed. The dice gods are looking kindly upon the track today. Well that won't last...

The 100 SS cars each advance several spots in the field with Dygert leading the way. No other comments today but, going forward, expect a more detailed run-down.

Please look for errors in both car placement and resource tracking. Mistakes happen.

No incidents to report as the cars funnel into the narrow portion of the track.

I'm not sure why that first chicane is labeled Traguardo, as that means 'finish line'. I think it may be in error so I'll just refer to it as the chicane. The chicane was added to the track after Ayrton Senna lost his life in the Tamburello corner in 1994, the site of many high speed crashes.

Turn 2 Summary

Dygert weaves his way through the chicane at 100 in the 60's for 2 wear.

Kubala has initiative at 100. He follows the red machine, also at 2 wear. Kay eases up to 80 and finds the exit row for a wear.

Schipper keeps his foot on the gas at 120 and sheds a tire on the outer rail.

Harley has initiative at 120. He dives into the middle lane and bumps 2 wear. Harrington, at 100 and the slip, attacks the chicane on the inside for 2 wear, picking up two positions.

Ricaud takes the initiative at 140 and careens into the chicane on the run-off lane for 2 tires. Puddifoot sedately pulls up to the chicane on the inside at 100.

Hoyt sets up the corner at 120 in the middle. Bernhardt, at 120 and the slip, makes it 3-wide at the chicane entrance.

Lind keeps up with the chase pack at 120 and the bonus. Walling brings up the rear at 80, pleased not to be in the traffic jam ahead.

Most of the field is through the chicane.

Paul briefly pulls off the track where his crew awaits to give his car a fresh paint job. He is now in Bubba Wallace's Black Lives Matter car, run just a few nights ago at Martinsville. I would not normally allow a car to change liveries in the middle of a race but this seemed to be an exceptional case.

Turn 3 Summary

Dygert clips a tire in Villenueve at 120. Kubala keeps the pace at 120 and the bonus. Kay runs down the straight at 120.

Harrington increases speed to 120 and finishes out the chicane with wear already paid. Harley drops to 100 through the 60 to stay on Kevin's side panel.

Schipper taps the brakes to 100 and burns a wear in the 60's (one wear already paid). He has to burn off speed on the outer rail of Tamburello. Ricaud over-brakes to 80 with 2s (modified 2) and finishes the chicane.

Bernhardt has the initiative at 120. He scrapes off 2 tires in the 80's and pulls even with Bruno.

Puddifoot runs the chicane 80's for a wear at 100. Hoyt does the same but has to move to the outer rail in Tamburello.

Lind takes it easy through the chicane at 60 to clear. Walling pulls up to the corner at 120.

Turn 4 Deadline: Monday, June 15th @ 7 a.m. EDT (11 a.m. UTC).

Michael has retired from the race. If a replacement is found by Wednesday, the car would re-enter the track at its previous position.

Turn 4 Summary

Dygert flies into Tosa at 120 on the runoff lane for a wear. Kubala, at 100, grabs the open line.

Kay runs Villeneuve for free at 100 and sits on the line.

Harley has the initiative at 140. He knocks down a wear in Villeneuve before setting up behind the #96. Harrington takes the 120 for free and parks inside.

Schipper, at 100 and the bonus, pulls even with his benefactor.

Ricaud clips a tire in the Villeneuve 100 at 120. Bernhardt goes outside in Villeneuve, also at 120.

Puddifoot pull up to Villeneuve at 140. Hoyt, at 140, grabs John's bumper.

Walling drops a wear in Traguando at 80 in the 60's.

Stacked and packed in Tosa with a whole lotta wear coming off...

Turn 5 Summary

Dygert slows to 80 and covers the red line. Kubala drops a wear at 80 on the Tosa line and finds the bumper on the AAA Chevy.

Kay tosses in a wear to stay with the yellow machine. Harley, at 100, can't stay on line. He late brakes with a wear to 80 before careening around the inner rail for 2 more.

Schipper has the initiative at 100. He clips 2 tires on the Tosa line. Harrington, at 80, scrapes off 2 in the Tosa 40.

Ricaud stays with the McDonald's Chevy, burning 2 wear on the line. Bernhardt goes with the gas pedal at 140. He moves up a position on the outer rail, costing 2 tires for the maneuver.

Puddifoot takes Villeneuve for free at 100 and goes inside. Hoyt tosses a wear at 120 and finds himself next to the Miller Lite racer.

Walling spends a wear in Villeneuve at 120.

Schippers finishes out the Tosa line at 100. Harrington ramps up to 120 with already paid wear and tucks in front of the red machine.

Bernhardt taps the brakes down to 100 to complete Tosa. Ricaud finishes his line at 100.

Hoyt has the initiative at 80. He burns a wear on the Tosa line. Puddifoot, at 60, knocks down a wear on the inner rail.

Walling races into Tosa on the run-off lane at 120 for a wear.

A stunning move by the Pennzoil driver puts him in the lead.

Turn 11 Summary

Kubala gets the initiative at 120 and careens into the demanding Rivazza corner. Just managing to keep the car on the track with 2w and 3s on the dice (modified 6), he then completes the corner with 2 more wear. Dygert dumps 2 wear in the first Rivazza corner at 100. Both cars should have some clean air for a while.

Harrington pulls up to Rivazza on the line at 140.

Harley, at 140 and with the bonus, pulls even with the #32. Schippper tucks in behind the #27 car at 140.

Kay keeps up with the pack at 120 and the bonus. Bernhardt takes an RM plot of 140 (NPR#1: Warning).

Both Ricaud and Hoyt burn 2 tires in Variante Alta at 120 and stay side-by-side.

At 100, Puddifoot is the beneficiary of a slip, allowing him to stay with his running partners at the cost of only 1 wear. Walling dives into Variante Alta at 120 and 2 wear. Did he push the 'Go' button?

Rivazza takes its toll on the tires...

Turn 12 Summary

Kubala extends his new found lead at 120. Dygert conserves wear at 80 on the line.

Harley plots 140(!) before late braking to 100 w/ 1 wear and 2s on the dice roll (modified 3). Three more wear come off in Rivazza, 2 on the outside and 1 on the line. Harrington scrubs 3 wear at 100, 2 on the first line followed by another on the outer rail.

Schipper burns a wear on the Rivazza line at 80. Kay, also at 80, follows the #1 into the corner for a wear. Bernhardt hits the brakes to 80 and grabs the line.

Hoyt has the initiative at 160. He grabs the dice cup w/ 1s on the late brake (modified 6) and slots to the inside. Ricaud keeps a steady foot on the gas pedal at 120 and sets up the Rivazza line.

Puddifoot, at 120, opts for the bonus spot instead of the racing line. Walling finishes out his corner at 120 with already paid wear.

Turn 13 Deadline: Monday, July 6th @ 7 a.m. EDT (11 a.m. UTC)
Trigger option in effect but unlikely.
