Marvin drops to 80 and clips 2 tires on the inner rail of The Wall. Swaine scrapes off a wear at 80 on the racing line.

Miller, at 140, taps the bumper of the #55.

The procession of cars over the Bridge and through the Esses has been orderly but will it remain so next turn?

Turn 18 Summary

Fritz runs S1 for free at 120.

Kennard takes the Bridge on the line at 140. Peeples follows and, with the bonus, challenges the #19.

Marvin eases over the Bridge at 140.

Swaine pushes to 140 (naked 9). He gets the initiative but not without a growl from the power plant. Beckman, at 120, gets in line.

Brandt finishes out The Wall at 100. Bauska and Miller both drop 2 wear in succession on the line at 100. This mini-row of cars demonstrates the always stylish black paint scheme.

Kay plots 100 then late brakes to 80 for a wear. He rounds The Wall for 2 more wear, keeping his inside position. Rando moves next at 100, taking the line for 2 wear. Tatum, at 80, drops 2 inside before repositioning himself back to the middle. This 3-wide going into the narrow part of the track will be interesting...

Turn 19 Deadline: Friday, March 6th @ 7 a.m. EST (12 noon GMT)
Trigger option in effect. Expect disruptions to adjudications Friday through next Monday.

Half the field coalesces into a big pack in front of the Triangle.

Turn 21 Summary

Peeples gets the initiative and outright lead at 100. He runs the Triangle on the line for 2. Mis-plot from the #23? He goes 80 (1 wear for the over brake) and takes the line for a wear.

Kennard catches the leaders at 100, but not for long. He pays 2 wear and is hung in the corner.

Marvin and Swaine trade paint down the straight at 140 apiece. Marvin opts for inside over line access.

Beckman makes it a 3-wide at 140 and the bonus. With no space, Bauska is denied the use of the slip at 140 & goes middle lane.

Brandt, at 140 and the bonus, slots to the inside of the #55. Miller punches it at 160 to keep up with the other black Chevy.

Kay, Tatum, and Rando continue their responsible tour through the S-curves at a sedate and safe 100. I expect to hear the rumble of engines from the back markers next turn.

Peeples grabs the outside line at 140. Fritz is attached to his bumper at 120 and the bonus.

Kennard makes up a car length at 160.

Both Marvin and Swaine roll into the long straight at 140.

Miller pulls out of the Triangle at 160 and sets up a three-wide. Brandt also plots 160 but has no room to put his car. He late brakes for a wear. Beckman slides in behind the red machine at 140.

Bauska slows to 60, avoiding wear expenditure, and blocks the line.

Kay has initiative at 100. He goes outer rail for 2 wear. Tatum runs the inside lane at 80 for 2 wear and picks up a position.
