Acquisitions Between Auction and Opening Day

I propose an amendment that acquisitions between the auction and Opening Day do not count against a team's budget, in order to allow teams to fix auto-auction damage if they can't stay for the entire process.

No, the $10 is for another purpose.

This is for owners who can't stay up until midnight or get too drunk to make rational decisions in the late rounds.

I would five is the maximum necessary. There's no point in rewarding people who don't pay attention in the draft. There is some merit to letting people make some changes based on playing time, injury, and roster construction updates.
