The title is a bit of a misnomer but it is the one often used for such a system. Our FAAB would ONLY apply to waived players, not free agents.
Amendment: Replace the current waiver system for priority on waived player acquisition. This will be replaced with a fixed budget that will be used to bid on waived players.

2. Bidding is blind.
3. Increments of $1.
4. Zero bids accepted.
5. Tie-breaks determined by record with worse record having priority.
Any of the details above an be changed so suggest some tweaks if you have them. I think the waiver period should be the same - minimum of 48 hours with a fixed resolution time of 4 a.m. EST. Also, like now, waiver acquisitions will count against your acquisition budget.
