Don takes the Wall of Champions at 120 for 2w.

Jim backs off to 100 to follow for 1w.

Doug takes the straight at 140.

Chris catches Doug’s rear wing at 160.

Dave gets up to 140.

Will tests his top and hits 180 to pull in front of Dave for 5th.

Jeff test his Acc to go +80, feathers the gas, and the engine complies, going 160; with the 2 slips from Will, he pulls past Dave and even with Will for 6th.

Tim also runs at 160 but has no one to pull him along; he ends up on Dave’s wing.

Fabio pushes his Acc to 60 +60 with 1 sk; he eases the engine up and it responds, getting him up to 160. He also gets a slip from Jeff.

John also tests his Acc, forcing the motor to go +80 to get to 120; he too gets a slip and pulls even with Fabio.

Mike runs the straight at 160, which allows him to drive both Fabio and John for 9th.

Next plot due Monday, 4 Mar @ 5 PM ET (US)

Don runs into Virage Senna at 140 for 1w.

Jim stays right on his rear wing at 140.

Doug take the Wall of Champions at 120 for 2w.

Chris uses a wear to over brake to 120, then take the corner for 2w right behind Doug.

Will gets the jump at 160, then late brakes to 140 (roll=9), feeling the brakes vibrate a bit but hold. He takes the line into the WoC, leaving the inside, and 5th place, for Jeff, who did 140.

Dave does 140 and parks on the first line space.

Tim does 160 and dives inside of Dave for 7th.

Mike does 160 and uses the slip to end up alongside Dave.

Fabio does 160 and, with a slip, ends up behind Tim.

John does 160 and runs up behind Fabio.

Next plot due Wednesday, 6 Mar @ 5 PM ET (US).

Drivers in positions 5-11, PLEASE remember that you are about to go through the WALL of Champions turn, and take into account that you may not get the spot you want with your first, second, or even third choice. So help out your Steward and try to anticipate what the obviously crazy other drivers are going to do (you being the only sane driver in the bunch, of course).

Drivers:

I mis-read Dave’s instructions. Because of this, several cars have changed positions.

Dave is on the outside, one row up, off the line.

Tim is now on the line.

Mike is inside of Tim instead of outside

Because of these changes, the deadline is now FRIDAY, 8 March @ 5 PM ET (US).

If you have already submitted a plot and wish to change just submit a new one. I will not process the next turn before Friday @ 5 PM.

Forgot to mention last turn (and change the graphic) that the leader is now on Lap 3.

Don continues through the center lane, slowing to 120 and paying an additional wear.

Jim slows to 100 and dives all the way inside for 2w to end up on Don’s rear wing.

Doug runs into the corner complex at 140 for 2w.

Chris follows at 120 and picks up a slip to enter the corner for free.

Jeff gets the jump on Dave and Mike, heading through the Wall of Champions corner at 100 for 2w.

Dave also goes through at 100 for 2w.

Will decides to save some rubber and takes the corner at 80 on the line for free.

Tim, with nowhere to go at 120 without being 60-over, decides to late brake, jamming down the brake pedal - and hearing grinding noises (10, fail). He spends a wear to get down to 100, then 2 more fro take the corner at 40-over, ending up on the inside of Will’s row for 7th place.

Mike brakes down to 100 and takes the corner for 2w, sliding between Tim and Will for 8th.

Fabio tests his brakes to get down to 100, mashing the pedal down and slowing (1sk, 3=OK) to take the corner on the line for 1w.

John also slams the brake pedal down to get to 100, but is rewarded with a vibration and parts grinding(10=FAIL). He spends a wear to slow and another to take the corner on the line.

We now have four cars with 20 brakes, but only one that started that way…

Next plot due Monday, 11 March @ 5 PM ET (US) unless I have screwed up this turn somehow too.

Don and Jim both run at 100 through the 100s for free nose-to-tail.

Doug slows to 120and runs the 80s, already paid for, ending up on the first 120 of Corner 3.

Chris slows to 100 and finishes the 1/2 complex for 1w.

Jeff runs into Virage Senna at 140 for 2w, diving to the inside.

Dave also runs in at 140 for 2w, taking the center lane.

Time gets the jump in his row at 140 for 2w, and with a slip is able to pull into the outside row, nearly even with Dave.

Mikes drives in at 140 for 2w, opting for the center lane, and leaving Will to take the inside next to him, and 8th place, at 140 for 2w.

Fabio runs up at 120 and gets a slip to pull up behind Will for free.

John runs up at 120.

Next plot due Wednesday, 13 march @ 5 PM ET (US).

Don takes Pont de Concorde at 80 for free; Jim does the same, staying on his tail.

Doug runs the 100 at 100 and grabs the line into the next turn.

Chris runs both 100 corners for free at 100 and catches up to Doug’s rear wing.

Jeff slows to 100, and takes the 60 at 40-over, already paid for, then through the 100 space of the next corner.

Dave runs over the 80s, already paid for, and then into the 100 space.

Tim runs the 100s at 120, already paid is, and then into the first 120 of the next corner for free.

Will hoped to get further, as did Mike; both run at 120 over the 100s (paid for) and then run up to the rear wings of Dave and Tim respectively.

Fabio runs the outside at 120 for 1w and pulls in behind Mike.

John slows to 100 and goes outside for free.

Next plot due Friday, 15 March @ 5 PM ET (US).

Don runs up on the line to Corner 8 at 120 with Jim still on his wing, also at 120.

Doug powers through Pont de la Concorde at 120 for 2w on the line.

Chris take the corner for 1w at 100 on the line.

Jeff enters the turn on the line at 100 for 1w.

Dave grabs the line just behind Jeff at 100.

Tim runs the 100 in Corner 4 at 100 for free and pulls to the inside, leaving the line to Will, who takes both 100s for free.

Mike is left out and so takes the 120s, then the 100 to pull up behind Tim.

Fabio runs the 100 then goes into the 120s for free.

John finishes the 1/2 complex and runs corner 3 at 100 for free.

Next plot due Monday, 18 March @ 5 PM ET (US).

Don takes Corner 8 at 100 for free, as does Jim.

Doug decides to save some tire…by taking Corner 8 at 140 for 1w and an unmodified Chance. The car drifts slightly…then snaps back into place, as he successfully negotiates the corner(6).

Chris take the line into Corner 8 at 120.

Jeff speeds up to 120 in Port de la Concorde as the corner speeds up, having already paid for 20-over.

Dave take the corner at 80 and blocks the end of the line…although it doesn’t matter.

Tim gets the jump on Will and takes the 80s at 80 for free, blocking the line Will was expecting.

Will takes the 80s and then the 100 at 80 for free.

Mike is NPR, so slows to 80 and runs into the 80s for free. This might have been the most fortunate NPR ever.

Fabio is not as fortunate, not expecting a bunch of little old ladies ahead of him, and plotted amidst 100. He’s force to late brake to 80 and then takes the line for free.

This jam-up plays into John’s hands, as he runs Corner 4 at 100 for free and grabs the end of the line, closing with the Granny Pack.

Because of the lateness of the plot, next deadline is FRIDAY, 22 March @ 5 PM ET (US).

Please also note that there are some family issues going on right now that may require me to drop off for a few days or at least be delayed; I will attempt to announce if I can, but If you don’t hear back for a few days that could be why. I will at least try to acknowledge plots, so if you don’t get an acknowledgement and the deadline is closing please send again. I would rather have you send a few time than have me miss it.

Don heads for Epingle at 140, grabbing the center-lane line.

Jim follows at 140, opting for the inside.

Doug pushes his top end, trying for 160, and finds the motor isn’t up to it (10) with a grinding noise. He runs at 140 this turn but his new Top is 120.

Chris takes Corner 8 at 120 for 1w.

Dave pushes his ACC to go +60 and get to 140 (1 sk, 6) and runs Corner 8 for 2w.

Tim runs up on the line to Corner 8 at 120.

Will speeds up to 100 (free).

Fabio speeds up to 100 on the line (PAID) and lines up next to Will.

Mike speeds up to 100 and takes the 100s to pull up on Will’s rear wing.

John takes the corner at 100 for 1w, ending up at the back of Fabio’s car.

Next plot due Friday, 22 March @ 5 PM ET (US).

Don runs the outside of Epingle on the line at 120 for 2w.

Jim runs up his rear wing, also at 120 for 2w.

With the slip from Jim, Doug decides it’s time to try for the lead, and so runs 120 on the center line with 2w and a Chance - but can’t hold the car with his worn tires, and spins (8). Please note that he will be going 20 next turn.

Chris grabs the outside line at 140.

Jeff catches Chris’ rear wing at 160.

Dave runs the straight at 160 as well.

Tim takes Corner 8 at 100 for free.

Fabio gets the jump on Will, taking Corner 8 at 120 for 1w on the line.

Will takes the corner at 100 for free.

Mike decides to put the hammer down, going 160 into Corner 8 for 60-over, 2w and a Chance (-3 sk). He manages to just hold the car straight (6) and clear the corner.

John runs the corner over the 80 space and then into the 100 for 2w.

Next plot due Monday, 25 March @ 5 PM ET (US).

Again, sorry for this delayed result.

Don runs down the straight at 140, as does Jim, who gets a slip and pulls along side. Looks like a drag race to the finish!

Doug spins his car around the right way and does 20.

Chris goes outside at 120 for 2w and passes Doug for 3rd.

Jeff also goes around the outside at 120 for 2w and gets a slip, allowing him to pull along side Chris and into 4th.

Dave takes the outside at 120 for 2w.

Tim runs down the straight at 140.

Fabio tests his top end, easing the car up to 160 (2sk, 5) to pull next to Tim.

Mike tests his top end to get to 180, coaxing the speed out of the car (1 sk, 7) and pulling next to Fabio.

Will mis-shifts (NPR 1) and does 80 (so he can make the corner at no wear and no line) allowing John to drive by at 140 (already paid for 40-over) for 10th.

Due to the delay, the next plot is due Friday, 29 March @ 5 PM ET (US), but if all plots come in earlier I will process the turn.

Jim slams down the gas and pushes his motor to the limit (test Top=8) to take the lead! He runs down the straight at 160.

Don tucks in behind at 140.

Jeff also pushes his motor to the limit(test Top=7), getting the jump on Chris’ crippled car at 180.

Chris runs the straight at 140.

Doug doubles his speed (to 40) but can’t hold off Dave, who finishes the corner at 120 and passes by for 5th.

Mike gets the jump on both Tim and Fabio by running 160, then late-braking down to 120 with a wear and a skill(5). He then spends 2w on the outside line at 120 to just clear the corner.

This puts Tim and Fabio, with plotted at 140, in a bit of a bind. Tim is first, and takes the middle line. He late brakes down to 120 (8) OK, but then spends 2w and takes a Chance - and spins (8). Must be a lot of marbles on that line.

Fabio now his a real problem. He has some wear to work with, however, and late brakes with 2w down to 100. Then he dives inside for 2w and a Chance (but with 2 skill=5). Thanks to his expert handling, he clears the corner *and* passes Mike and Tim for 7th.

John runs up to the corner at 120.

Will runs up at 140 but, seeing the center lane blocked, late brakes (7) and grabs the outer line behind John.

Next plot due Monday, 1 April @ 5 PM ET (US) (I’m not joking!).

Some corrections for the last plot:

1) I mis-read what Will wanted. He is on the inside now, same row as John, at 140
2) Fabio has 3 wear remaining, not 5.
