Every year around this time we still hear about the Christmas truce of 1914, where the men on the Western front decided to stop shooting at each other, get out of their trench and greet their foe on the other side of the line. What we don't often talk about is that by 1916, there was no talk of truce. After Somme and Verdun, and the introduction of poison gas, no one: private or general was amenable to any truce. I'm guessing this game is in the equivalent of 1916, and there is no Christmas truce for you all? If so, your spring 1906 orders are due Tuesday December 25 at 9pm eastern time.
