Miller makes a bold move while the rest of the mid-pack jockey for position.

Turn 24 summary:
Mossman comes out of Beausset at 80 and hits the entrance to Bendor. Tatum holds 100 for already paid wear and catches the leader. Welage slows to 80 and shifts to the 80 lane mid-corner. Hancock plots 80 looking for the inside lane in the corner but Welage forces him to shift lanes to the 100s to finish his move.

Miller plots 120 and challenges Beausset with two wear. He then takes on Welage who is blocking, but a modified 6 gives him the pass and P3. Ling uses all the brake he has to get down to 100, taking the 100s for free. Kennington wants a 120 move but traffic won't allow it. He uses one wear to get down to 100 and another to take the 80s. Incorpora plots 100 for the middle lane at speed.

Bauska finishes the Signes line at 120 and drops to the inside. Blizzard already paid for a 140 move which puts him even with Bauska. Rando sheds one wear on the racing line at 140 and is in position for a slip next turn. Linneberg maintains two lengths back by scrubbing off one wear on the racing line.

Bauska plots 80 and stays on the inside, picking up the tail of the silver car. Blizzard also does 80 and is forced outside in the corner. Rando is locked at 100 and he reaches the entrance to Bendor. Linneberg comes around at 120, wear already paid, and pulls even with Rando.

A strong move in the Virage du Pont yields the only position change this turn.

Turn 27 summary:
Mossman sheds one wear in Virage du Pont at 100 and gains a car length on Welage, who slows to 80 around the outside of the corner for free. Tatum drops one wear in the 80s at 100. Miller makes a move to the inside of the Virage at 100, scrubbing off two wear and is ready to attack the main straight.

Kennington, still nursing his bad brakes, plots 100 out of Bendor and sticks to the inside. Ling comes out of the corner at 100 and also grabs the inside. Hancock is locked at 80, keeping on the tail of the green machine. Incorpora uses his 100 on the outside to pull even with Hancock.

Bauska finishes the 80s at speed finishing behind Hancock. Blizzard finishes the corner at 100 to slide in behind Bauska. Rando slows to 80 and safely covers the inside lane of Bendor. Linneberg takes an RM plot which moves him around the outside at a safe 100.

A four car breakaway takes the white flag.

Turn 28 summary:
Mossman finishes the main straight and grabs the Verriere racing line. Welage give it all he's got to get to 140, keeping on the inside. Miller lets his big engine loose and reaches 180, passing Welage for P2. Tatum winds up to 160 and draws even with Welage.

Kennington does 80 around the du Pont 80s and starts for the inside. Ling does 80 around the 80s for free. Incorpora holds 100 through the virage 60, dropping two wear but picking up three positions. Hancock does 80 into the 60 scrubbing off one wear to move up one spot.

Bauska plots 100 and takes the long way around Tour, reaching but not entering du Pont. Blizzard also plots 100 and takes the short route to pull even with the yellow car. Rando, likewise, does 100 to keep up with Blizzard. Linneberg is locked at 100 and chooses to finish behind Rando.

Mossman keeps his two length lead through Verriere. Rando picks up two positions.

Turn 29 summary:
Mossman, Miller and Welage all plot 140 and cover the Verriere racing line for free. Welage gets a slip from Miller to pull even with the second place machine. Tatum takes the line at 120, losing a car length to the cars in front of him.

Incorpora uses all his acceleration to get to 160 and hold the inside position. Kennington's injured motor only gets him to 120, finishing inside. Ling asks his motor for a little push out of Virage du Pont and it delivers (naked 5) taking him to 160 and into P6. Hancock, at 140, gets a slip from Incorpora and keeps up with Ling.

Bauska and Blizzard make identical 80mph moves through the Virage 80s finishing the move as they began it. Rando puts his fate in his tires as he attacks the Virage 60 at 120. Two wear points and a three-skill roll of 5 later he's into 9th and clear of the cars behind. Linneberg is MIA so he floats into du Pont on the outside at 80.

Next deadline: turn 30 due Monday, December 18 at 6pm EST/11pm UTC

A reminder, the plan is turns as normal EXCEPT the 25th and 1st. If anyone needs something different let me know.

Three acceleration tests, all successful.

Turn 30 summary:
Mossman drops one wear in the Chicane at 80, shifting to the 60 space at the end. Miller also scrubs off one wear at 100 into the 80s. Welage conserves his tires with a 100 move into the outside lane of the corner. Tatum stays in touch with the lead pack at 120 ready to take the next two corners.

Incorpora uses the Vierriere racing line at 140, finishing inside. Hancock gets the initiative by plotting 160 and making a one skill roll to late brake (modified 5), covering the racing line at a safe 140. Ling plotted 140 but, with Hancock now on the line, he uses one wear to brake to 120 and follow him through the line. Kennington wants to run the line at 140 also, but it's jammed up, forcing him through the 120s and making him the first driver to wear out his tires.

Rando runs into the Verriere line at 160, shedding one wear but catching the pack in front of him. Bauska and Blizzard are both at 160. Bauska gets the first move and grabs the racing line. Blizzard is forced inside picking up P10 for now. Linneberg comes out of Virage du Pont and pushes his engine to 160 (modified 7), finishing inside.

The leader is ready to "stretch it out" one last time.

Turn 31 summary:
Mossman sheds one wear in the St.-B 80s at 100, shifting lanes mid-corner. Miller keeps at 100 also dropping one wear in the 80s. Welage does 80, shifting mid-corner to preserve his tires. Tatum covers the Chicane at a safe 80.

Incorpora holds on to P5 plotting 100 into the Chicane's outer lane. Hancock runs a safe 100 and finishes in the middle lane to give himself options next turn. Ling slides inside the silver machine at 120 to take P6. Kennington takes an RM plot; by rule he must slow to 100 in order to safely negotiate the Chicane next turn. This requires a naked deceleration roll which he passes with a 7.

Rando finishes the Verriere racing line at 160 for paid wear and makes it three wide into the Chicane. Bauska takes the racing line at a safe 140 and finishes inside. Blizzard scrubs off one wear in the Verriere 100s at 120 and drops back to 11th. Linneberg dips into his vast wear store to leave one on the racing line at 160, choosing to finish in a slip position.

Incorpora slows to 80 and scrubs off one wear in the 60 of the Chicane, finishing inside. Rando is first of the three wide into the corner starting in the 100s at 140 for two wear, then late brakes to 120 (modified 6) to continue through the 80s. Ling drives the Chicane 80s for free finishing on Rando's wing. Hancock makes the same move and holds P7 by finishing inside of Ling.

Bauska catches the pack at 120 through the 80s scrubbing off two wear. Kennington slows to 100 into the 100s. Linneberg gets the jump on Blizzard at 120 knocking off two wear in the 80s. Blizzard is down to 100 leaving one wear in the 80 space.

An interesting turn. Two chance rolls, only one of which is successful.

Turn 33 summary:
Mossman hits 180 down the Mistral Straight. Miller also hits 180 with his big acceleration. Welage gets to 180 and with a slip from Miller he passes the orange car, finishing in the middle. Tatum uses one skill to acceleration (modified 7) to also get to 180 and uses the double slip to stay on Welage's wing.

Incorpora cuts his remaining wear in half at 80 around the inside of St.-B. Rando sheds two wear around the 80s at 120 and checks his rearview before finishing outside. Ling scrubs off one wear in the 80s at 100 and uses a slip from Rando to keep pace with him. Hancock drops one wear in the St.-B. 60 at 80, keeping in touch with the cars ahead of him.

Bauska comes off the Chicane at 100 through the 80s with a naked chance roll (6). Linneberg continues at 120, finishing the Chicane 80s and hitting the St.-B. 80s at a cost of two wear but with Bauska blocking is forced outside into the 100s. Blizzard gets the initiative from the inside to roll through the Chicane 80s at speed. Kennington also makes a naked chance roll (8) into the Chicane 60 at 80 but his bald tires lose grip and around he goes.

Three wide behind the leader thanks to some friendly dice.

Turn 34 summary:
Mossman keeps it at 180 approaching Signes. Welage make a naked top speed roll (2) to reach 200 and close a length on the leader. Miller also makes a naked top speed roll (4) and roars down Mistral Straight at 220 to the delight of the crowd. Tatum rides the double slip from Welage at 180 to make it three-wide.

Rando uses one skill to coax a little extra acceleration out of his engine (modified 6) and attacks the straight at 180. Ling follows behind Rando at 160, choosing to use only one slip space in order to stay on his tailpipe. Incorpora gets up to 140 keeping inside. Hancock also plots 140 and takes a slip from Incorpora to pull even with him.

Bauska hits the straight at 160, grabbing Incorpora's wing. Linneberg finishes the St.-B. 100s at 120 for already paid wear. Blizzard completes the 80s at speed. Kennington recovers from his spin at 40.

Mossman's lead evaporates. What can Rando, Linneberg or Blizzard do with their wear advantage?

Turn 35 summary:
Mossman preserves what's left of his tires taking the racing line at a safe 120. Miller gets the jump on Welage and Tatum, plotting 180 then making a naked late brake roll (9) and sits on the leader's wing. Welage plots 160 and reaches the entrance to Signes in the middle lane. Tatum drops to 140 and grabs the line.

Rando uses the last of his skill to reach 200mph down the straight. Ling maxes his damaged engine at 160 using the double slip to stay with the brown race car. Hancock does 180 finishing inside and taking P7. Incorpora at 160 sits right behind Hancock.

Bauska looks for a slip from Incorpora but he's faster then the black machine so he pulls even with him at 180. Linneberg puts the pedal down at gets to 180 on the inside. Blilzzard uses one skill to coax a little pop out of his engine (modified 6) which gets him to 160. Kennington covers the St.-B. 80s and prepares to attack Mistral.
