Turn 36
Your RM is slow with the adjudication as the move was tragic for some!
Mike takes in on the mini stretch at 100
Jeff tries to make the corner at 80, but his brakes say no (Naked 10!), costing a wear, and damaging the brakes
Doug rushes to the inside before the curve at 120
Fabio rolls to his outside with the continuation of his 140
Marshall asks his car to roll through the corner at 160, and the naked 11 spins his car into the barrier! the front axle snaps and drops the chassis onto the hardtop!
Chris spends a wear on the R/L and works his way toward the inside
Jim calls for a 140 on the R/L as well for a wear
Tim takes the outside at 140 with a slip for no wear
Will rolls at 180
Crash involvement rolls:
Chris rolls a 6
Jim rolls a 3
Tim rolls a 5
Everyone slides by as the Marshall's car spins to the outside and snaps the axle on the short barrier.
Turn 37 Due Friday at 4PM Pacific
Sorry Marshall...

Turn 37
A pack develops!
Mike orders 80 and has only one more curve to negotiate
Jeff enters the 80s at 80 also
Doug takes to 80s at 80
Fabio chooses to not tempt fate and takes the middle lane at 100
Chris spends 1W in the 80s and makes up a space on Fabio and Doug
Jim also spends 1W, going 120 in the middle lane
Tim does the same as Jim with 120 in the middle lane
Will spends 2W of his wear and flies through the big curve. His pit boss was heard yelling at him that he missed the racing line! Will sheepishly replied "My bad, Sir"
Marshall climbs out of his car, shakes his head, and makes his way to the track medical crew. He looks ok.
Turn 38 is due Monday 15JAN18 at 4PM unless triggered early.

Turn 38
A pass for 4th position!
Mike cruises along the straightaway 80
Jeff comes around the corner at 80 also
Doug continues his push for 2nd with a ordered 120 in the 80s (2W)
Fabio, on bald tires and little options keeps it safe at 100 on the outside
Chris spends a wear at 100 mph coming into Bender and cuts to the inside of Fabio
Jim cuts to the 80s at 100 (wear already paid) and tucks in behind Chris
Tim maintains his 120mph in the middle lane
Will must still be rattled after the R/L chewing from his crew chief, that he pushes on the brakes to come down to 100. Luckily, the brakes respond (naked 9) and he takes the middle lane
Turn 39 due Friday at 4PM Pacific.

Turn 40
The checkers go to Sloterp!
Mike pushes his engine to 160 (naked 11), but his engine gives the sound of a piston cracking, and his pit crewmen cuss under their breath for the repair work coming up. Congratulations to Mike!
Jeff comes around Du Pont at 100, spending 1 wear in the 80s
Doug flies along at 120 (2W) and pulls alongside for an exciting finish for 2nd coming up!
Chris spends 1W in Du Pont in the 80s as well
Fabio tears down the straightaway at 120
Jim speeds up to 100 and tries to keep contact
Tim looks to finish the race, doing enough to stay ahead of Will
Will comes into Bendor at 80
I will adjudicate as soon as I get all the remaining orders. Wed at 4PM is the hard deadline.

Turn 41
We have the race able to be calculated out to the finish. If someone wants to tempt dice I can roll for that, but it does nothing, except for raisng your speed numbers on Jim Orlando's Racing Digest!
Mike celebrates in the pits, except for the engine man; still pissed about the late damage...
Doug and Jeff sit side by side, and Doug pushes to 180 and passes with a (naked 5), and that forces him to take a late brake chance or enter the curve at high speed! He passes that as well with a (naked 7).
Jeff settles for third with the 160, and no risk
Chris finishes Du Pont with a 100
Fabio zips around Du Pont with an 80 in the outside lane
Jim does the same route around the outside at 80
Tim and Will both take Village at 80
Since no car can pass another, I finished the race as follows:
T42
Chris 140
Fabio 120
Jim 160 (using his 1 skill) would still sit on the outside of Fabio
Tim 80
Will 80
T43
Tim 160
Will 80
T44
Will 140
I will let you know about the dates and times for Estoril! See you in Portugal! If you contest the automated finish please let me know. I will make it right!

Mike's lead a little less than his lap 2 lead. (How will he compare to the full field?)
