I had no rooting interest in this World Series besides a general dislike of the Rangers, who have been embarrassing my A's for the past few years. However, Game 6 was one of the best games I have ever watched in my life. Not best-played, clearly, but in terms of drama, I'm not sure I'll ever see one to top it. Two final strike game tying hits! A two run jack in extra innings by the losing team! All kinds of wackiness you don't usually see, like a runner picked off third in a tie game, a pitcher batting in the 5th with the bases loaded, two outs, and a one run lead, a bases loaded walk to tie it, etc! A pitcher pinch bunting for another pitcher who was pinch hitting for another pitcher, down by two in extra innings! A successful bunt that was two feet from being a triple play! It was all just so unbelievable. Good thing I didn't turn it off (I thought about it) after Kinsler put Texas up 7-4. Game 7 was a total bore compared to that.
