It would be great to ignore the last three days of the baseball season if you can figure out a way to do it.

Well, it's actually very easy - just take the score on that Sunday and call it a day. To lock it into ESPN, we could just bench everybody on those two teams for the last three days.
I think this solution is the most consistent with the constitution and should not require a vote.

Well, I'll need to know how the playoffs are lining up before I can mess with the schedule. I agree that the extra days will probably help mitigate the problem, so I'm not too worried about it one way or another.
Forced benching is an interesting solution, and more importantly, a non-messy one

I'm fine with that, too.

You can create the schedule based on a 20-week regular season. That is locked in. I am not considering the 10-day off option since a) I don't like it and b) the 3-day off option is a valid alternative (based on my Mubarakian right to interpret the constitution). The only question is about the three extra days and the answer to that has no bearing on the rest of the schedule.

Alright, I'm on it, but dammit, why did MLB have to go from 25 weeks to 24, now I've got to re-do the scheduler

I'd like to join, or be placed on the waiting list.

Michael, I'll put you on the wait-list (5th). Not to discourage you but you could be looking at years.

More owners make for a weaker team but much more of a challenge when it comes to research. I would love to see expansion, but understand the lack of desire to be more inclusive.

Uh oh, Todd. The potential loss of Wainwright must be devastating for you as both the vall Banger's owner and a Cards fan.

I was just looking up who had Wainwright. I guess he won't be on the keeper list anymore...

With a contract buy-out to boot.

You have no idea. Wainwright is my favorite fantasy player and my favorite RL pitcher. Plus the Cards' season is already shot. This is pretty much how I'm feeling about it:

So... my vall Bangers put together the best season in league history, and the Cardinals made an amazing run to sneak into the playoffs. I think I need to dismiss the chances of things I want to happen more often!
In fact, that applies to the Cardinals' WS run in '06 as well...
Alright, you heard it here first: Phillies over the Cardinals in 2 games in the Division Series

Having said that, anyone else want to see Pujols take Brad Lidge deep in Philly to win the series? You know you do.
