David has chosen to step down this year. I've sent an email to Ozy via Redscape but have had no response. I don't think he's been around here for some time. If I don't hear back soon, I'll extend an invitation to Steve instead.

I would be interested in playing again if there is ever room. I see there is a significant waiting list, though

I've got you on the list. Yeah, you could be years on the waiting list - ownership is quite stable. It's good to have old champions come back to try again! Steve made it back this year and you're waiting in the wings; all we need is Alfredo to show up.

It may go faster if the expansion amendment ever passes. It's gotten real close a few times.

That's right, the 10,000 have Cano! I offered him a bunch of trades over the last few years and could never get anywhere. Perhaps now we can make a deal!

Offseason trades are possible. Of course, the problem is you can't trade auction dollars so you'd have to find a trade that offers similar auction value.

As for trade rules: All player trades include existing contracts. The only other thing that may be included in the trade terms are free-agent dollars, currently set at $50 plus auction carryover (each FA cost $1, so essentially it is a count limit on acquisitions during the season). Anyway, I'm certain George would be happy to explain what is a good trade and what is not .

Trades are conducted through the system - one party makes an offer and the other accepts or declines. Once accepted, trades are processed immediately. If FA dollars are included in the trade, it must be confirmed via email or public post from both parties.

If any non-owners are paying attention, keepers are set and can be viewed at the link above. Auction in two weeks. Also, the wait list has started again so if you think you'd like to join one day, post here or email me.

As long as you don't collude with yourself (which may be illegal depending upon your state of residence)
